Mode Full time | Duration 4 Years
Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering is a Graduate program of technical field. The duration of this course is 4 years with 8 semesters and course approved by AICTE. The AICTE has given approval for starting B.Tech degree course in Civil Engineering during the academic year 2007 - 2008 with a sanctioned intake of 40. Academic year 2009-2010 increased the intake to 60.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala or equivalent thereto with 50% marks in Mathematics separately and 50% marks in Mathematics; Physics & Chemistry/Bio-technology/Computer Science/Biology put together are eligible for admission. However, under Management quota candidates who have obtained 45% marks in Mathematics separately and 45% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together are eligible for admission. Note : Relaxation of 5% marks in the qualifying examination will be allowed to those candidates who belong to the communities listed under the Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) and OEC category, as per rules. SC/ST candidates need only a pass in the qualifying examination.
Admission Details
The seats other than those set apart to be filled by the Management will be filled by the Government as per the merit list prepared on the basis of Common Entrance Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examination, Government of Kerala as per rules framed by the Government.
For Management quota of seats also the admission will be made from the rank list prepared on the basis of CEE conducted by the Government of Kerala.
