MESCE Kuttippuram Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

MESCE Kuttippuram hostels provided for the male students with about 600 beds can be located about 500 metres away from the main block, close to Civil and Architecture departments. The rooms inside hostels are shared with other students. First year students are provided with a separate block keeping their safety and comfort in mind. Toilet facilities are provided floor-wise for students of a particular floor. On weekdays, Opening time for Boys hostel is 6 am and closing time is 8 pm and on weekends, students must ask for permission before leaving the hostel. 

Girls hostel is on campus on the main block with a capacity of 500 beds and shared rooms for female students as well. For the safety and comfort of first year female students they also get a separate block in the hostel. The opening and closing time for the girls hostel is 6 am to 6 pm on weekdays and on weekends students can only go out of the hostel with permission. The institute is intolerant against Ragging, Alcohol, Drugs or Disciplinary misconduct.

MESCE Kuttippuram provides an on campus clinic facility with medical officers which is available for its students anytime. A lady doctor also visits the campus everyday from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm for medical needs of the students, female students specifically.

MESCE Kuttippuram Physical Education Department takes care of the physical well-being of its students and staff and provides gymnasiums with the latest equipment in both boys and girls hostels which students can access in the morning or evening. Gym is necessary for physical well-being and activeness of the students and also to keep them motivated and disciplined. Faculty officers can also use the gymnasium to stay physically healthy and fit. 

MESCE Kuttippuram library is located in the middle of the college and is widely known as ‘Central Library’ with a vast collection of Books, Journals, E-Books, Reports and many more and it is also accessible digitally. Currently, the library has 14646+ e-Journals, 8900+ e-Books, 4 online journal database, 5117+ CD ROMs, 673+ DVDs, 7462+ bound back journals, 1149+ project reports, 319+ mini projects, 3431+ seminar reports, 76+ thesis reports, 398+ Indian standard codes and question paper archives which are provided to over 3000 students.

The Physical Education Department also ensures that the students and staff are participating in sports activities. MESCE Kuttippuram campus has multiple sports grounds with professional and experienced trainers with various sports facilities such as football, cricket, basketball, hockey, badminton, table tennis, kabaddi, weight lifting, chess and many more available for its both male and female students. 

College is having a campus wide network interconnecting all departments across the 11 buildings in to a single LAN. The network is having a fibre backbone of 1 Gig capacity.

MESCE Kuttippuram has an on campus canteen which provides healthy and delicious food to its students and faculty members at an affordable and budget-friendly price. Students are provided with this facility so that they can focus on their academics as they can get nutritious and appetising food from the canteen which utilises their time. 

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminar.

MESCE Kuttippuram college has two buses which are functioning on all working days and run from Kottakkal and Thrissur to college campus and vice-versa. This facility is so that students and faculty members can commute conveniently.

The college has a good networking for alumni association.

The college has Wi-Fi facility for the students and staff.

FAB Labs (Digital Fabrication Laboratories) were established to provide advanced digital manufacturing technology to manifest the innovations of its students and entrepreneurs. FAB labs has several fabrication equipment such as 3d printers, laser cutters, sand blasting machines and many other electronic components and materials, which are controlled through computers. There are computers with designing and manufacturing capabilities available as well for turning the ideas of students to innovations.

MESCE Kuttippuram also has an in campus convenience store which is available for all the students and the faculty staff so that they can buy books and stationery items without having to go outside the college premises. The opening and closing time of the store is 9 am to 5 pm and it is open on all working days.

The college provides an in campus banking facility which is open from 10 am to 4 pm on all working days. Punjab National Bank, Thrikkanapuram is located and functions inside the campus with arrangements made to receive college and hostel fees. Apart from the bank itself there are other banking facilities available as well like an ATM which is accessible 24x7 for all students and faculty members.

The college has a well-furnished Guest House with 10 A/C Rooms meant for visiting faculties and guests of the College. In addition guest room facility is arranged in the Campus Mens Hostel.

The college has the parking space facility for its faculty, staff, and students.
