- Candidates must be 10+2 passed with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised board of education.
- 50% marks in the qualifying examination.
- Pass in the entrance test conducted by Commissioner of Entrance Examination, Kerala.

Admission to the B.Tech degree course is on the basis of the All Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations, Government of Kerala.

College Infrastructure
College does have a good infrastructure. It does provide good amenities in terms of labs and workshops. It also does have great hostels sports complex and good infrastructure to support sport and cultural activities too.

Even the college has an old infrastructure, it provides all facilities and equipments. Also there are laboratories, library, sports centres and separate men's and women's hostel. They all are used and well maintained. The living places are clean and the food is hygienic.
