Oyster College of Architecture, Aurangabad Admission Process

Oyster College of Architecture, Aurangabad, is one of the top architectural institutions in Maharashtra, India. Admission is a challenging exercise whereby talented and deserving candidates for the B.Arch. program are selected. Admission cycle runs parallel to the national-level entrance examinations NATA and JEE Main held once in a year.  The basis of admission into the B. Arch program is the scores from NATA and J.E.E.Main. This ensures that all applicants admitted into the architectural course from among those scoring merit. The admission cycle would generally start after the announcement of results for NATA and JEE Main, generally held from the months of April to June.

Eligibility for admission into the B-Arch program means admission requires:

  1. Passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination recognized by a Board.
  2. Qualifying score in NATA (minimum 80 out of 200) or JEE Main score.
  3. Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects during their 10+2 curriculum.

Application Process

The application procedure at Oyster College of Architecture Aurangabad consists of:

1. Candidates should qualify either in NATA with a minimum score of 80 out of 200 or in the JEE Main with a valid score.

2. Visit the official website of the college  and download the application form.

3. Fill the application form with the correct personal and academic data.

4. Upload all required documents (inclusive of):

  • 10th and 12th examination mark sheet
  • NATA or JEE Main scorecard
  • Passport-size photograph
  • Other certificates as specified by the college

5. Pay the application fee as stated on the website.

6. Submit the completed application form with all the required documents.

Selection is mainly based on the candidate's performance in NATA or JEE Main. The 10+2 marks may also be considered by the institutions in order to finalize the merit list. Once the merit list is declared, the shortlisted candidates could be called for document verification and admission procedure formalities.

B. Arch: B. Arch program offered by the college is a 5 years program in Architecture. The admission mode depends on candidate performance through either NATA or JEE Main. The total intake for B. Arch is 77. To be brought into consideration for admission, the candidates must have completed their 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as basic subjects and have obtained NATA or JEE Main minimum required score accordingly.
