PMCH Udaipur Admission Process

Pacific Medical College and Hospital (PMCH), Udaipur, is one of the most popular medical colleges that has a tie-up with the National Medical Commission (NMC). The college follows a very strict and merit-based PMCH admission process for its various medical courses.

PMCH Eligibility Process

The entry to PMCH is primarily based on national-level entrance examinations. For undergraduate programmes like MBBS, admissions are based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG). PMCH admissions to postgraduate programmes of MD and MS are based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post Graduates (NEET PG).

PMCH MBBS Admission Process

The MBBS course is the flagship programme of PMCH with an admission of 150 students per annum. PMCH admission will be solely based on the candidate's merit in the NEET UG test. The candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

PMCH MD/MS Admission Process

Various MD and MS courses like General Medicine, Anaesthesiology, Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Paediatrics, Radio Diagnosis, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, ENT, Ophthalmology, Tuberculosis and Respiratory Medicine, Psychiatry, and Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy are offered by PMCH. PMCH admissions in all the courses are conducted through NEET PG. Seats for each specialty vary, i.e., from 1 to 10 seats per course.

PMCH M.Sc Admission Process

Apart from these courses, PMCH also offers M.Sc courses in Medical Anatomy, Microbiology, Biochemistry, and Physiology. Separate PMCH admission procedures for these courses are not described, but the probable procedure is a separate application procedure.

Documents required for admission typically are:

  • NEET score card
  • 10th and 12th standard mark sheets and certificates
  • MBBS degree certificate and mark sheets (for PG admissions)
