The only drawback is that the college is not autonomous , it is affliated to anna university, but it matters only on time of examination , the difference is that the semester exams in affliated colleges will be like board exams. Otherwise the quality of education is awesome

PSG institute of technology and applied research has a marvellous infrastructure there are seven blocks in total , five for each different blocks one for administration and one more for science and humanities. Each block is connected through connectors
Placements
Major companies come for placement. The placement percentage and package increases every year. And for benificiery of students placement classes are taken from the start of 5th semester , placement cell is very helpful

The syllabus follwed is anna university and it is affiliated not autonomous and the quality of teaching is excellent and the staffs are very experienced in their field and they support the students and very friendly

The college has a very good infrastructure and the campus is very well planned and designed, each and every class has own smart board and audio system and the auditorium is very well modernized and can hold a large number of audience
Placements
The placement cell is very hardworking, the placement rare is increasing year by year and the the package is also getting higher annually , most of the students who opt for placement gets placed. Major firms comes for placement.

You have a score of one hundred eighty five point five percentile and belong to MBC category Now considering ECE branch in SKCET and EEE in PSG Tech here is the guidance based on expected cutoff trends For SKCET Coimbatore cutoff for MBC category ECE branch is closing around rank twelve thousand to sixteen thousand and your percentile should translate to a rank lower than this so you stand a good chance for ECE in SKCET For PSG College of Technology Coimbatore cutoff for OC category EEE branch closing rank is around six thousand eight hundred but for reserved categories like MBC it will extend further thus you may still get a seat if category cutoff goes beyond ten thousand Between the two options ECE in SKCET seems safer given your expected ranking but if you prefer PSG Tech for its brand value you can choose EEE under MBC seat if cutoff allows Attend counselling and use college choice filling smartly to secure seat based on actual cutoff declared during rounds

Does PSG accepts JEE mains mark?
Hello aspirant,
Yes, JEE Mains marks are accepted at PSG College of Technology in Coimbatore.
PSG Institute of Technology accepts JEE MAINS scores, although admission will be dependent on both JEE scores and percentage marks from the 12th board.
The counselling is done through the Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Chennai's Single Window Counseling system, which follows their guidelines.
