Many departments encourage project-based learning, internships, and industry tie-ups which helps students gain exposure beyond textbooks,
Faculty members are generally approachable and supportive, with some professors being highly knowledgeable and motivating. However, the quality of teaching can vary across departments- while certain faculties are excellent at explaining concepts and guiding students, others rely heavily on presentations or traditional methods, which may not be engaging for all. Guest lectures, workshops, and seminars are organized often, providing students opportunities to interact with industry professionals and alumni.
College Infra
The infrastructure at SRM Institute of science of technology, Ramapuram Campus, is well-developed and provides students with most of the facilities needed for academics and campus life. it's all about your knowledge, and for my opinion it's okay. value for money is a little

1) Currently studying btech cse (big data analytics) and the quality of teaching is great.
2) Yes everything is updated and the teachers are very supportive regarding job ready works.
There are project works which enhances your work skills.
College Infra
Great Infrastructure with good furnishings.
1) Yes it has all the necessary Infrastructure, facilities and equipments
2) They are well maintained and in fact they are renovating their campus every year
3) Yes, living spaces are clean and thr food is hygienic most of the times.
Campus Life
1) Activities like college feats, Inauguration, Orientations, Dance, Art, Singing etc. are actively encouraged. Worst features- Poor Water quality and problems and mess food can sometimes suck
2) Very friendly and encouraging. Teachers will scold u to rectify ur mistakes otherwise they are great. Yes it can handle emergencies very well.
Placements
1) Top recruiters visit the campus and hire students with nice package
2) 90% students are placed with a highest package of 52LPA offered to Cse students
3) 12LPA to 15LPA is the average salary offered. Yes the placement process was easy and pleasant for Me with a supportive college staffs.
Value For Money
1) 360000 costs per year but it gets reduced with scholarships.
2) Girls Hostel fees are little high. But it's worth it because they provide good and top quality Security for female students.

SRM College of Technology Chennai Is one of the best private Engineering college in Tamilnadu which has management quota admission system. If you have failed in SRM joint entrance examination for taking admission in different branches of Engineering then if you are very much interested to take admission in engineering like computer science engineering they we have to try for management quota system of education where you can take admission directly with a higher fees. Management quota seat fee structure for competitions engineering is rupees 2.5 lakhs per year.
