PIBM Pune Admission Process

PIBM Pune offers admissions to a total of 7 courses, out of which 6 courses are offered at the PG level. To apply for PIBM admissions, students will have to visit the official website of the institute to fill the online application form. Students who meet the eligibility criteria will have to appear for the required aptitude test for PIBM PG admissions. As per the PIBM Pune admission process for the PG programmes, the selection of the candidates is based on the scores of the entrance test, group discussion and personal interview.

PIBM PG Admission Process

Candidates seeking PIBM PG Admissions, must meet the eligibility criteria.
Eligible candidates will have to fill the online application form.
Applicants will have to appear for and secure valid marks in any of these aptitude tests: CAT/MAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT/ATMA.
In case candidates have scored average marks in Aptitude Tests, they have to go through PIBM's Online Aptitude exam - PMAT.
Candidates who are shortlisted in the aptitude tests, will have to appear for a round of group discussion.
The GD will be followed by a round of personal interviews.
The final list of shortlisted candidates will be released by the university.
The shortlisted candidates will have to visit the university campus for verification of documents and payment of PIBM Pune fees.

Note: Additional weightage will be given to applicants with work experience.

The faculty for MBA is good and conducts various extracurricular activities to make students industry ready. The syllabus is very easy and can be cracked very easily with the help of study materials provided by the faculty members.

The characteristics of this college is a good discollege having a Good teaching staff and the supporting staff I have completed my MBA course in this college. Because I want to learn about the management. Skills and how to business run and the quality of the teaching in my college is a good Yes I think Curriculum is updated include all the recent government in the field yes my course makes Ready for my job.

The college is known for its excellence in PGDM. Though for MBA it is considered as a last sort college, the faculty have good experience and knowledge of the relevant field. The syllabus is pretty much relevant.

which is better for MBA in finance or MBA in banking and financial services from pune. mit wpu or pibm or isbm

Hello!

Out of the given choices, for finance or mba in banking and finance PIBM is the best choice. The placements of mit epu are less than isbm & pibm. The placements of pibm and isbm are almost at par. The fees is highest for isbm pune. Therefore the ROI of PIBM is best.

Pibm pune's lowest was 4 lacs, avg you can expect 6 lacs and highest 16lacs. Finance profile are offered here.

Pibm has advantage over the other two as it trains students & provide certifications in: bloomberg terminal, financial modelling, advance excel, Bal sheet analysis, etc.

Which college is good for PGDM Program RIIM PUNE or PIBM PUNE?

Hi aspirant,

RIIM and PIBM both these are renowned Management Institutions in Pune Maharashtra. No doubt that, these Institutions are doing great in their respective fields. Among these Institutions my first preference will be RIIM PUNE, as this Institute is Providing AICTE approved PGDM Programme in a reasonable fee structure and with good ROI and Placement Support. The best part of RIIM is the course curriculum that is totally Practical Exposure based and due to less number of intake they can provide quality placement and personal attention to each and every student.

how is pune institute of business management for pgdm in finance?.. is it worth to invest?

Hi Karan,

To start off with I'd mention 4th Best among NIRF ranked colleges in Pune in 2019 (https://www.shiksha.com/mba/ranking/top-mba-colleges-in-pune/2-2-0-174-0?rs[]=31&uaf[]=ranking_source) in ranking by NIRF. Talking about placements the highest recorded is 16 LPA with an average of 6LPA. You can definitely go ahead with PIBM. If you have any other options available then please compare both the colleges in terms of placements/alumni base and the kind of exposure the college provides.
