B.Tech in BioTechnology programme seeks to teach students about today’s processes and biotech industries by delivering comprehensive knowledge of the subject, technical competence, and transferable skills. The programme enables students to develop a sound understanding of biotechnology principles and apply them to develop world-changing solutions. Students can learn how to apply the principles of biotechnology and integrate the concepts of biotechnology in the fields of medicine and healthcare, agriculture, industry & environment, and the overall public good. The programme is designed to impart a comprehensive understanding of biotechnology for diverse application.
Eligibility Criteria
HSC ( Academic & Vocational) Candidates
Applicants for engineering admissions in Chennai need to meet the following requirements:

Candidates belonging to communities other than SC/ST should have Passed the qualifying examination within two attempts
Lateral Entry Candidates
Diploma Holders (various branches) are also eligible to II year of the four years B.E. / B.Tech Degree courses.

Admission Details
TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission ) is a state level counselling for admission to the undergraduate B.E/ B.Tech degree courses offered by the institutions or colleges located in the limits of Tamil Nadu state. TNEA counselling form will be issued to the students who complete higher secondary every year.
