      Raman Polytechnic, Bangalore, established in 1988, is a premier technical institution located in the IT capital of India. The college offers six full-time diploma courses in various engineering disciplines. The Raman Polytechnic admission process is designed to be straightforward and accessible to all aspiring students.

      The Raman Polytechnic admission strictly adheres to the rules issued by the Government of Karnataka for all its diploma programmes. Raman Polytechnic admission usually starts a few months prior to the onset of the academic year, usually in August-September. To be eligible for admission, a candidate must have passed the 10th standard or equivalent examination from a recognised board. Raman Polytechnic expected that students have a good foundation in subjects like mathematics and science, as these are key subjects for engineering courses.

      Raman Polytechnic Application Process

      The general procedure for application to all the diploma courses in Raman Polytechnic, Bangalore, is as follows:

      • Visit the official website of Raman Polytechnic, Bangalore, for downloading the application form.
      • Fill the application form with correct personal and academic details.
      • Pay the prescribed application fee, which is clearly mentioned on the website.
      • Submit the duly filled-in application form along with the following documents:
      • The Management would choose the students based on rules and guidelines specified by Government of Karnataka
      • The interview and counselling of the shortlisted students may be invited for the process.
      • Finally, students are selected on marks obtained and all other eligibility as per the government's rules and regulations.

      The institute admits 200 students in total for all of its courses. So students must apply earlier and send their respective documents before time.

      Raman Polytechnic Diploma Admission Process

      • Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering: With an approved intake of 60 students, this programme admits candidates as per the selection criteria set by the management as per the government rules. Candidates interested in electronic circuits and communication systems should enrol in this course.
      • Diploma in Civil Engineering: The college has 60 seats in this programme. Students are selected by the management after consulting the government's norms. Candidates with a desire to specialise in structural design and construction can opt for this course.
      • Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering: This is another programme under which 60 students are accepted. The management makes the necessary selection of students as per rules and regulations stated by the respective government. Ideal for students seeking a career path in computer programming and software engineering.
      • Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering: There are 45 seats in this programme. This is also like any other programme of the college. Students who want to study electrical systems and electronics should opt for this course.
      • Diploma in Automobile Engineering: This programme has an intake of 40 students. The selection process follows the rules laid down by the Government of Karnataka. Students who are interested in automotive technology should take this course.
      • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: This is the largest programme at Raman Polytechnic with an intake of 90 seats. The admission procedure follows the rules prescribed by the Government of Karnataka. Candidates with a strong aptitude for mechanical systems and design are ideal for this course.

      Raman Polytechnic Documents Required

      • 10th standard or equivalent mark sheet
      • Transfer certificate of the previous school attended
      • Caste certificate (if applicable)
      • Any other document indicated by the Institute concerned
