Ranaghat Government Polytechnic is a government-affiliated technical institute situated in Ranaghat, West Bengal. For Ranaghat Government Polytechnic admission in the first year, JEXPO is compulsory for the candidates because it tests the students in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The direct admission in the second year is open to candidates taking the Vocational Lateral Entry Test (VOCLET), also conducted by WBSCT&VE&SD, who have done comparable courses in their previous vocational programme.
