Excellent all-round development. Very good faculties and a guest lecture from various backgrounds. It lacks a bit in infrastructure. But that doesn't let the quality of education deteriorate. The Return of investment is the best you can find in India. Seniors are always helpful. This institution has an amazing alumni association. Alumni often visit the campus and throw light on their industry experience. The placement is good.

College life is not similar to the on-campus life like iims, Faculty is good, Visiting faculty is one of its kind, Infra is on the weak side, placements are very good, Locality is premium. The induction process is very rigorous that helps to inculcate professional attitude. Best for finance and marketing as well as operation. Other specialization not suggested.

Being a government college and one of the oldest, this college is itself valuable.Almost everyday you will be having guest lectures by industry stalwarts. Classes here last all day long. We follow a bi semester pattern. We are taught by RBI director,GM strategy ,VP finance of major companies, GM retail hence Sydenham is amazing to experience overall. Strong Placement and Alumni committee. Gets many companies on campus for internships and final placements. Has a Consulting committee which gives practical exposure to students which comes in handy during placements. Helps with off-summer projects to get practical exposure. Our college has 2 courses PGDBM & MMS,In MMS degree is awarded by Mumbai University whereas in PGDBM degree is awarded by Govt of Maharashtra.Academically our college is quite flexible in our academic schedule,Our college has good no of in-house as well as external faculty where external faculty teaching us are stalwarts in their respective fields. Our college follows bi-semester examination pattern. We have a lot of projects to do in our college life where each faculty has its own set of stringent requirements about the project. These projects give us a lot of practical exposure as well as give us first-hand training of MBA life. All professors use case study approach to teaching us.There are lots of pre-reads as well which we have to do.Assignments are given on weekly basis where all we have to learn overall in a week is tested.

When I entered this college, I was pretty excited. New life, a new journey, a new phase of life. The college has lived to my expectations almost. The life is not so easy to spend by MBA. The college lacks a bit in infrastructure and faculty but all other things are good. The hostel is one thing this government college needs to work on.

The admission process for both the courses is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra through CAP Counselling. Shortlisting is done based on the score in MAH-CET or its equivalent exams.
