College Infrastructure

When I graduated, the ECE building was falling apart. The library was understocked as well. I see they've made improvements recently so its better now. The Wifi was unreliable and the gym was subpar. The labs were well stocked though. The food used to be good in my first year but declined along the way.

Placements are exceptional but training could be functional

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is great with advanced labs, smart classes, and good speed Wi-Fi. Library is among the best regarding offering great resources to students of technology. The hostels are comfortable, but private rooms near campus are also preferred

It was good experience

Have a question related to RVCE Bangalore ?

Hi dear candidate,

We hope you are asking about Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE). Both of the colleges RV College of Engineering (RVCE) and Thapar Institute of Technology (TIET) are very good at infrastructure, studies and reputation as well.

However, the RVCE is slightly better than TIET due to it's constant high ranking especially in field of ECE and also has strong industry connections along with Bangalore's vibrant tech ecosystem, it offers more job exposure.

You can also consider other factors like fees and proximity to your residence etc. for better choice for you.

BEST REGARDS

I got 6949 rank in comedk Will I get ece at msrit or bms or rvce

With a COMEDK rank of 6949 , you are not likely to get ECE at top colleges like MSRIT, BMSCE, or RVCE , as their ECE cutoffs are usually below 4,000 .

Consider other branches like Mechanical, Civil, or other IT specializations where closing ranks range between 25,000 to 60,000

Explore less competitive engineering colleges in Karnataka that cut off around 50,000 to 100,000 .

Can I have direct admission (without comedk) in BMS or RMIT /RVCE in management quota

Yes, you can secure direct admission to BMS College of Engineering (BMSCE) , RV College of Engineering (RVCE) , and Ramaiah Institute of Technology (RMIT) through the Management Quota without participating in COMEDK or KCET entrance exams. However, each institution has specific eligibility criteria and fee structures for management quota admissions.
