SIDS Ahmedabad Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Cutoff & Application Form

SAL Institute of Diploma Studies is one of the new institutions located right in the heart of Ahmedabad city, Gujarat. It is AICTE-approved and offers diploma programmes, mainly in the technical fields. The SAL Institute of Diploma Studies admission process has been formulated and structured in such a way that it is easy and hassle-free for the aspiring students.

However, the following general points act as guidelines for any prospective candidates who wish to apply for a course at the SAL Institute of Diploma Studies:

• Look out for notifications about the start of admissions for the relevant diploma programme.
• Check for the eligibility criteria regarding the selected programme. Most diploma programmes require the completion of 10+2 with relevant subjects.
• Prepare all documents for submission.
• Complete the application form either online or offline as specified by the SIDS.
• Pay the application fees.
• Submit the duly completed application form within the specified deadline along with all the necessary documents.
• Follow for any further announcement on the entrance examination/interview/counseling, if applicable.
• If selected, fill up the admission form along with the fee payment and original document submission for verification.

The SAL Institute of Diploma Studies conducts two full-time diploma courses:

• Diploma in Computer Engineering: A three-year diploma course with an approved valid intake of 180 seats to develop technical skills and updated knowledge for students in the area of computer engineering.
• Diploma in Information Technology: A three-year course with 120 approved seats, aiming to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge for a career in one of the fastest-growing areas- IT. 

Prepare all documents for submission, which may include but are not limited to:

• Completion mark sheets of 10th and 12th classes
• Date of birth proof
• Domicile certificate (if applicable)
• Caste certificate (if applicable)
• Recent colored passport-size photographs
