Admission to various diploma courses offered by the institute is granted through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted by MSBTE. Check a detailed process below. 

• Online application form  submission: Interested candidates for technical diploma courses at Satara Polytechnic, Satara need to complete and submit the application form online through the official DTE website.

• Document verification: Candidates need to undergo an application verification process through either online (e-Scrutiny) or in-person (Physical Scrutiny).

• Provisional merit list: After document verification, a provisional merit list is released. Candidates can raise concerns about their merit position within a specified period. Once these concerns are addressed, the final merit list is published.

• Seat matrix publication: Before each Centralized Admission Process (CAP) round, the admissions authority posts a seat matrix on the official website. This matrix outlines available courses, sanctioned intake per course, and the allocated seats for different categories.

• Choice filling: Applicants must prioritize their preferred institutes and courses. Once confirmed, these choices are unchangeable. Candidates need to finalize their options before the scheduled CAP rounds.

• Provisional seat allotment: After each CAP round, the admissions authority publishes provisional seat allotment results. These results specify the institute and course assigned to each candidate based on their merit rank and chosen preferences.

• Reporting and seat acceptance: Candidates allotted their desired institute and course must report to the designated college within the stipulated time. Here, they confirm their acceptance of the allocated seat by completing the necessary formalities.
