UPES dehradun has excellent infrastructure and placement record which brings it to the list of tier 1 college. college has excellent learning environment and experienced faculty. cse department has note worthy placement record. According to past years data,  94% of the students got placements from cse      department.  The average  salary package offered was 4.5 LPA. Top recruiters were TCS, Infosys, Rakuten, Hitachi, HCL, Nagarro, VMware, ZS Associates, Cognizant and TTN. Students got internships opportunities in startup.  Top roles offered  were junior developer, associate developer, programmer trainee, Business analyst jobs and project manager.

According to my research I guess for B.TECH in CSE you should go for MANIPAL JAIPUR as it, has amazing faculties as well as properly infrastructured campus. The labs are fully equipped with new devices and instruments. Also the placement record is good at this college for CSE. the highest package offered in this college is 40lpa and whereas the average ranges around 6-7lpa.

No doubt, Graphic Era is a deemed University so its changes (fee payment ) are low whilst UPES being a private university charges a handsome amount. But UPES has been ranked 21  for Law in 2020 among all law universities in India. Also, the placement record (as per the reviews) of UPES is better for BBA LLB course as there is a separate campus for Law only. The placement record for UPES is 80% for BBA LLB students in the companies like HDFC etc.

Both of these institutes are very good due to its placement and other details. But in my opinion, ILAM is much better than UPES. ILAM is giving upto 100% placement. It was also rewarded for the best business school in 2018. They are having 2500 industry partners, top recruiters include British Airways, Emirates, Jet Airways etc. The main thing is, fees is not so high here. In UPES they are also tie up with so many major companies too. Their placement is good also. But the fees is high compared with ILAM. So, now it's your choice.

This is a three years course, including six semesters. There are only 100 seats for this course. Here is the semester wise fees structure:

• Semester I: 129750 INR
• Semester II: 129750 INR
• Semester III: 140000 INR
• Semester IV: 140000 INR
• Semester V: 151000 INR
• Semester VI: 151000 INR

In ILAM:

This is a three years course with a very good infrastructure. The faculties are very well educated. The total fees for this course is Rs. 345000 INR.

You can avail the facility.Almost all private engineering colleges avail the facility of management quota and takes students based on admission.You can definitely take admission in cse branch through management quota in UPES Dehradun.It takes 8-12 lakhs based on year to year and also on subject

I hope you are doing good. I would glad to aware you that their is difficult to tell about the fixed jee mains percenitle because it is private university and in private  universities , seats in btech courses specially increased every very year in high to increase the intake of students and no .of applications also increased . Admission in btech are given mostly on UPESEAT exam score and those who have same scores are then priortized through pcm percentage.

UPES does not take admissions on the basis of JEE Mains, it conducts it's own entrance exam for the same. Here are the steps you will have to follow to apply for the same:
