The UPES College Dehradun is accredited AAA ranking by the NAAC B.  The overall review by the various service of the college in various aspects like faculties, infrastructure , placements , etc is very good. it is one of the good universities but still there are many good universities for doing be found in Dehradun or nearby.

FACULTY : Faculty is well educated and most of them have done PH.D from upes itself. yes ,they have a wide knowledge, which no doubt they distribute among the students.

Pursuing mba in energy tradin g is not bad from there but you have to work hard to get a good package over there.

for the mechatronics which is the newly formed branch so please go for the dehradun b tech college so that u will get the good placemnet in which i studied the all the other places which u mentioned that are not upto the mark in the placements adn in even in other catagory of selection thank u

After a good search I can suggest you this, 

See UPES is a core university in Petroluem and Geo Sciences and in the same LNMIIT is a CS / IT based University. So because of this reason I insist you to join in LNMIIT if your looking for joining in CS related Fields.

On the other hand UPES offers 15 CS specialized courses out of which almost 75% of the specializations are useless and are there only for creating more admission and revenue for the university..

LNMIIT being CS and IT University has immense knowledge in this sector that is needed for the CS professionals to excel in their career…
