is from Upes chemical engineering is good as I from middle class family and that is too high

The faculty and facilities are sufficiently well-equipped, though not comparable to IITs.

Placement is around 85 percent of class strength which has increased from mere 40 to 120 next year(present 2015 batch).
For 2012-16 batch :
highest - 9.5 lpa
average - 4 lpa
Some notable companies are Technip, Reliance, TCE, PCBL etc. do come . Take informed decision. All the best !

my waiting list in Upes is 30 in chemical engineering it will clear or not

Last year till 50 waitlist got cleared through upseat. So you have a chance. Hope for the best !

people usually consider upes Dehradun as the best last option . but I have heard it's the best universityoffering petroleum engineering .

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of the university of petroleum and energy studies is very beautiful. It is located between the mountains and the scene is very peaceful and happy everyday. Lab are pretty decent and well equipped.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is great of this college. The area around the college is vey peaceful and the internal area is very well equipped with all the facilities. Students are allowed to use all the resources.

The college has excellent infrastructure with modern classrooms, well-equipped labs, a vast library, and good sports facilities. The campus is clean and spacious with reliable Wi-Fi. Hostels are well-maintained, and the food served is hygienic. Overall, the environment is very student-friendly.
