M.Tech in Data Science: Another specialized program of the school, the M.Tech Data Science program, has an intake of 24 students. Admission into the M.Tech program in Data Science mainly relies on the GATE scores in a manner similar to the program of Big Data Analytics. The program seeks to train individuals in the management of machine learning, statistical analysis, and data visualization, which are all core functional aspects of data science.

These two M.Tech programs are conducted full-time and aim to impart advanced knowledge and skill sets necessary in a professional data science and analytics environment. The selection process for both programs has a similar setup whereby the GATE score is the primary selection criterion.
