Better infrastructure than other colleges. But there are no ACs in the classrooms. But comparatively better infrastructure than Motilal Nehru, pgdav etc. but no wifi are there and no smart board too.. the canteen is not so good but ok ok.
Better in case of academics. The faculties and quality of education is good. But the attendance policy is quite strict. Minimum 66.67% attendance is mandatory for all the students and the principal too is quite strict.
Not have much idea about the placements as I am also a fresher.. but I think the placements are good for commerce like bcom hons or bcom courses and but not good for arts background like BA courses or hindi hons.
The fees for bcom hons is 21000 and i feel the facilities are not so good.. as other south campus colleges issues laptops this college doesn't even issues laptops to the student. The admin behaviour is not good too.
The campus life is not too good as there is so strict environment and strict too in academics point of view there are so much classes assignments and all. And also they didn't gave us freshers and the students of this college are rude too. But the location is good but it is situated in residential area so didn't give a college vibe.
Not so good... Average infra No wifi smart board or any of that.. Inly 1 block is good (C) Rest are normal as in govt schools.. Food is ok ok... The canteen just got changed expecting better food now...
A few teachers are really good and some are pathetic overall its okay but i think it can be better and the college should really seee whaich tescher is good and is capable of engaaging the students in the studies
Good placements It all dependa on you... i also know people who have got really good packages from the college and some have also got none.. Definitely better placements than the "Evening" one but can be better
Yes value for money... Great societies many skills you will develop and overall a good college and also the brand of *DELHI UNIVERSITY* comes with it
Good campus life. .
I'm studying at Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, Delhi University and talk about the infrastructure it is on mark with its properly constructed admin offices, classrooms, conference rooms and etc. However, The college suffers from its main focus on academics with its strict policies on attendance and cultural fests demeriting the campus life.
The college as mentioned before is fully focused on academics providing amenities like routine quizes, case competitions fostering brighter minds and encouraging the youth aspiring to become young leaders for the university and the planet. Talk about qualities of teaching, you'll find wonderful and well committed teachers.
Talking about the placements, the college has foreseen and enabled upto more than 20 Lakhs of highest placement package with its median package less than 10 lakhs. Alumnus network under the college is a hot topic as Bhuvan Bam (well known vine videos producer), Shoojit Sircar (infamous filmmaker) and Ridhhima Kohli (Director of Standard Chartered Banks) are good examples.
In my opinion, the college is indeed value-for-money as you'll find wonderful seniors with remarkable goal-oriented mindsets.
Campus Life of the college is quite poor as fests are prohibited and it is difficult to convince the college principal to do so.
