This college provides one of the best infrastructure as compared to other Delhi university colleges, in all the aspects whether it is library planted with AC or the playground well maintained, the classroom have proper ventilation too.
Academics is completely dependent I mean some of the teachers are really good specially the bcom and eco teachers but some just don’t care whether you study or not. If you complete assignments on time and score good marks in testes you are on good side.
I can confidently say that this college has one of the best campus placements because the placement cell has good ties with the big four companies Deloitte, KPMG, EY and PWC they also help in providing internships to various students.
College infrShaheed Bhagat Singh College (SBSC) is a well-established constituent college of University of Delhi with a strong reputation for its commerce and management programmes. The campus infrastructure is modern and well-maintained, offering smart classrooms, a library with good collection, and a vibrant student life. Faculty are experienced and supportive, especially in guiding students through placements and internships. Extracurricular and cultural activities are active, making it a well-rounded environment. Some improvement could be made in administration responsiveness and hostel availability for out-station students. Overall, SBSC offers excellent value for pursuing B.Com (Hons.) or related courses.astructure is very good but few areas are under construction
The academics at SBSC are strong and well-structured, particularly for commerce and related streams. The curriculum is updated regularly and integrates practical elements such as projects, seminars and guest lectures, which helps students gain exposure beyond textbooks. Faculty members are generally experienced and supportive, encouraging class participation and clarifying questions during office hours. Lab and tutorial sessions are conducted, helping students to apply theoretical learning. However, there are occasional lapses in the pace of syllabus completion and some batch-specific issues with teacher availability. Overall, the academic environment is conducive to building foundational knowledge, preparing for exams, and moving into internships or further study.
The academic environment at SBSC is robust and well-designed, especially for commerce and related streams. The college follows the curriculum of the University of Delhi, which is regularly updated, and faculty are largely experienced and supportive. Students benefit from interactive teaching methods—seminars, case studies, group work—in many departments. Attendance norms are strictly enforced, which reinforces discipline but sometimes adds pressure. Some batches report occasional delays in syllabus completion or uneven faculty availability. Overall, the academics at SBSC provide strong foundational knowledge, good exposure, and arrangement for further studies or professional paths.
Shaheed Bhagat Singh College offers excellent value for money as part of the University of Delhi. The annual fee structure is very affordable compared to private colleges, making quality higher education accessible to all students. The college provides strong academic support, good faculty, and a decent placement cell that connects students with reputed firms and internship opportunities. For commerce and economics students, the return on investment is particularly high because of the college’s strong reputation and exposure opportunities. While the infrastructure and placement outcomes can vary by course, the overall experience, academic environment, and low fee together make SBSC one of the best budget-friendly colleges for pursuing undergraduate studies in Delhi University.
Campus life at Shaheed Bhagat Singh College is lively, inclusive, and full of opportunities for personal growth. The college has a positive environment with well-maintained infrastructure, clean surroundings, and a supportive atmosphere. Students actively participate in various societies, cultural fests, sports events, and academic clubs that help in overall development. The annual fest and departmental events bring energy and enthusiasm to the campus. Faculty and seniors are approachable, making it easier for newcomers to adjust. Although hostel facilities are limited and the campus is not very large, the student culture, green lawns, and active student union make the experience vibrant and memorable. Overall, SBSC offers a balanced mix of academics and enjoyment, creating a fulfilling campus life.
College infrastructure is good not that bad and trying to make it better too, all the basic facilities are good with good quality and sufficient and the college is morning and evening too so there is fuller utilisation resources
Quality of education is superb but why I am giving four star is because of the attitude and rudeness of teacher but the education quality is one of the best in india and the alumni network is one of the best
I don't know that much about the placement as first year but I listened it that it is good. And alumni network is good and the placement society is great and they are helpful Even after you graduates.
The quality of education you get in is superb and the fees is very cheap like 20000 yearly maximum
The alumni network and campus is best and superb
Everything about the college is good except the rudeness of the administration
The college has a really nice infrastructure and a good overall vibe — the classrooms and common areas are well-maintained. But honestly, some parts have been under construction for almost two years now, which can get a bit annoying. Also, the canteen isn’t that great; the food options and quality could definitely be improved. Still, once the construction work is done, the campus will look and feel much better.
The teaching quality here is pretty good — most teachers are really knowledgeable and helpful, though everyone has their own style of teaching. Our college is rightly known for its commerce courses, and the learning environment is quite supportive.
Placements at our college are decent, especially for commerce students. Big companies do visit, and there are good opportunities in finance, marketing, and consulting. But the ground reality is that only the top-performing students usually get the best offers while the average packages aren’t that high. You really need to be proactive , build your resume, join societies, and gain experience to stand out. The placement cell is supportive and puts in effort, but there’s still room to bring in more companies and improve overall opportunities.
Honestly Shaheed Bhagat Singh College is worth it for the value it offers especially considering it’s a Delhi University college with a strong reputation in commerce. The academics are solid, and the peer group is competitive, which really helps you grow. However, the placements and infrastructure don’t always match the college’s name — only the top students usually get great offers, and the rest have to work harder outside the placement process. Still, for the fees you pay and the exposure you get, it’s definitely a good deal overall, as long as you make the most of the opportunities yourself.
Campus life at is decent and has a friendly, welcoming vibe. There are a few active societies and clubs, but honestly, the number of events is on the lower side compared to some other DU colleges. Still, whatever events do happen like fests and competitions are well-organized and fun. The crowd is nice and easygoing, and the location is fairly safe and convenient, with good metro connectivity. You just need to stay a bit cautious late in the evening, like anywhere in Delhi, but overall it feels comfortable and secure
Better infrastructure than other colleges. But there are no ACs in the classrooms. But comparatively better infrastructure than Motilal Nehru, pgdav etc. but no wifi are there and no smart board too.. the canteen is not so good but ok ok.
Better in case of academics. The faculties and quality of education is good. But the attendance policy is quite strict. Minimum 66.67% attendance is mandatory for all the students and the principal too is quite strict.
Not have much idea about the placements as I am also a fresher.. but I think the placements are good for commerce like bcom hons or bcom courses and but not good for arts background like BA courses or hindi hons.
The fees for bcom hons is 21000 and i feel the facilities are not so good.. as other south campus colleges issues laptops this college doesn't even issues laptops to the student. The admin behaviour is not good too.
The campus life is not too good as there is so strict environment and strict too in academics point of view there are so much classes assignments and all. And also they didn't gave us freshers and the students of this college are rude too. But the location is good but it is situated in residential area so didn't give a college vibe.
Not so good... Average infra No wifi smart board or any of that.. Inly 1 block is good (C) Rest are normal as in govt schools.. Food is ok ok... The canteen just got changed expecting better food now...
A few teachers are really good and some are pathetic overall its okay but i think it can be better and the college should really seee whaich tescher is good and is capable of engaaging the students in the studies
Good placements It all dependa on you... i also know people who have got really good packages from the college and some have also got none.. Definitely better placements than the "Evening" one but can be better
Yes value for money... Great societies many skills you will develop and overall a good college and also the brand of *DELHI UNIVERSITY* comes with it
Good campus life. .
I'm studying at Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, Delhi University and talk about the infrastructure it is on mark with its properly constructed admin offices, classrooms, conference rooms and etc. However, The college suffers from its main focus on academics with its strict policies on attendance and cultural fests demeriting the campus life.
The college as mentioned before is fully focused on academics providing amenities like routine quizes, case competitions fostering brighter minds and encouraging the youth aspiring to become young leaders for the university and the planet. Talk about qualities of teaching, you'll find wonderful and well committed teachers.
Talking about the placements, the college has foreseen and enabled upto more than 20 Lakhs of highest placement package with its median package less than 10 lakhs. Alumnus network under the college is a hot topic as Bhuvan Bam (well known vine videos producer), Shoojit Sircar (infamous filmmaker) and Ridhhima Kohli (Director of Standard Chartered Banks) are good examples.
In my opinion, the college is indeed value-for-money as you'll find wonderful seniors with remarkable goal-oriented mindsets.
Campus Life of the college is quite poor as fests are prohibited and it is difficult to convince the college principal to do so.
SBSC infrastructure in 2022 was decent but had a mixed impression among students. The campus is spacious with a green environment, a well- stocked library, computer labs and seminar halls. The library was air conditioned.
Academically, SBSE is considered one of the strong colleges of Delhi University especially for commerce. The faculty was experienced, supportive and many professors were highly qualified with research backgrounds.
Placements for the 2022 batch were relatively good, particularly in commerce related fields. Companies like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, Accenture, Wipro and many more visited the campus. The average package was around 4-5 LPA.

It costed me less than 50k for the whole degree. ROI 10/10
Active societies
Bhagat Singh College boasts a well-planned infrastructure with modern classrooms equipped with projectors, a well-stocked library, and advanced computer labs. The college also provides excellent sports facilities, including a spacious ground for cricket and football. The canteen is hygienic, and the overall campus environment is clean, green, and student-friendly.
The academic environment is excellent, with faculty members who are highly qualified and approachable. They use practical teaching methods like case studies, presentations, and group discussions to make learning interactive and effective. Regular seminars and guest lectures by industry experts add extra value to classroom education.
The placement cell actively collaborates with reputed organizations like Deloitte, EY, and KPMG to bring job opportunities for students. It also conducts soft skills training, resume-building sessions, and mock interviews to prepare students for competitive roles in finance, consultancy, and auditing sectors.
One of the biggest advantages is affordability. With a nominal fee structure, students get access to top-quality education, experienced faculty, and immense exposure. The ROI (Return on Investment) is excellent, considering the college’s reputation and opportunities.
Campus life is vibrant and full of energy. Students participate in cultural societies, academic clubs, and various co-curricular activities. The annual cultural fest “TARANG” is a major highlight, attracting students from across DU and offering opportunities for networking and fun.
