The infrastructure feels like it’s doing the job, nothing more, nothing less. Classrooms are usable but outdated, with old benches and occasional projector support that works only on good days. The library is quiet and helpful for exams, but it lacks updated books and comfortable study space. Labs are present, but practical work often feels rushed because equipment is limited and shared. The campus looks okay from a distance, yet small issues like broken tiles, peeling paint, and poorly maintained washrooms are hard to ignore. Wi-Fi exists mainly on paper connectivity is slow and unreliable.
Academics here are average but manageable. The syllabus is mostly followed, though teaching quality depends a lot on the faculty. Some teachers explain concepts clearly and are helpful before exams, while others rely heavily on reading slides or textbooks. Practical learning is limited, and self-study plays a big role in scoring well. Internal assessments happen regularly but sometimes feel more like formality than feedback. If you attend classes, revise on your own and use external resources, academics won’t be a problem but don’t expect anything exceptional.
Placements in this college are below average. A few companies do visit the campus, but most of them offer low packages and limited roles, mainly sales or support profiles. Core companies are rare, and many students are not eligible due to strict criteria or lack of opportunities. The placement cell tries to help, but guidance and training are minimal. Resume support and mock interviews are basic, so students mostly depend on self-preparation or off-campus jobs. Only a small percentage of students get placed through campus, while others pursue higher studies or internships on their own
This college feels average but acceptable. The fees are reasonable compared to many private colleges, and you do get the basics—regular classes, a usable library, and access to exams and certifications. However, the return on investment isn’t outstanding. Facilities and infrastructure are just okay, not modern, and you often have to rely on self-study rather than college support. Placements and practical exposure are limited, so students who expect strong career support may feel disappointed
There are occasional cultural events and festivals, which bring some energy, but they are not very frequent or grand. Student clubs exist, but many are not very active unless students take initiative themselves. Hostel life is okay—rooms are manageable, food is average, and rules are a bit strict. The crowd is mixed: some students are focused and supportive, while others are just here to pass time. Overall, campus life is balanced but simple. If you are self-motivated, you can enjoy and grow here. Don’t expect a vibrant or luxury campus experience—this college gives a realistic, middle-level student life.
College is okay. In DU colleges, you have to be proactive and do a lot of self-study to do well in undergrad. B.Com students do better than Eco students. This is from 2016. I am not sure what the current situation is like.
Quakity of teaching is really good. Teachers know they are teaching. Even the visiting facilities are really good. Love the syllabus. Curriculum is up to date. They teach you what you need for the real world.
The placements are good. Many companies come for it. You can blindly trust this college for placements. Good companies come for it. Yes very nice companies come for it. I love this college for college placement.
This college is average. teachers are decent and supporting. Seniors bhaiya and didi support. Average opportunity to internship and placement. And normal infrastructure and campus and technology in this DU college.
Academic is normal teachers guide and help us understand the concept of study material. tech and infrastructure help us to. With seniors guiding us and helping and the best part is everyone is motivating to do better and better so it helps us in various circumstances.
Placement is low very honest the highest package here was 10 lakh which is decent but not all the students get placement infact interesting thing about this college is internship opportunities which help build cv and connection guide in average firms and companies
Average value of money. It provide with infra and tec which help us gain knowledge and understanding of study concepts. And average support from teachers and seniors makes it even more special. My honest review this is normal while looking for value of money
Campus Life is decent particularly for me I am a sports quota student so I have gone cllg very less. But again sports fest and cultural programs are big part of delhi University and helps students in Many ways.
decent college in du but work hard and improve skills as student
Shaheed Bhagat Singh college infrastructure is huge. It has one of the biggest campus in delhi university. It has a huge playground where all the events takes place. Washrooms are clean and canteen is hygenic.

yes this college is value for money.
Campus life is good and fun if u have good group friends.
One of Delhi University's contemporary infrastructures is that of Shaheed Bharat Singh. You will have access to a two-story library with internet, air conditioning (just in the computer room), and the option to use a library laptop if you don't already have one. SBSC includes a canteen and shacks. The food at the canteen is nice and reasonably priced. I really like the samosa and dosha. The SBSC does not have a hostel.
Shaheed Bhagat Singh has a really smooth academic environment. The classes are clean, the teachers are supportive, and commerce–economics courses are the real strength here. The workload is manageable with regular assignments and presentations, and the societies keep you learning real-world skills alongside academics. Overall, studying at SBSC feels structured, focused, and genuinely growth-oriented.
In the aggregate, more than half of students get employment with various firms. Speaking specifically about B.COM (p) students, Deloitte and KPMG typically hire students (Audit Associate Profile). In addition to the Big Four, TresVista, Accenture (HR profile), and Bain and Co. have also visited the school this year. The minimum package size for BCOM is 3.5L, while the maximum is 7L. (P). Overall, SBSC offers all students, regardless of stream, strong placement possibilities.
It is definitely value for money. The fees are affordable compared to most good colleges, and in return you get solid academics, a lively campus, and plenty of opportunities through societies and events. You don’t feel like you’re overpaying for anything, whatever you invest, you actually see the worth in your overall college experience.
Campus life at Shaheed Bhagat Singh College is simple but super lively. The college lawns are everyone’s go-to chill spot, and between classes you’ll always find groups laughing, studying, or just vibing there. The societies keep the campus energetic with events happening every other week. The canteen is a major hangout zone, good food, good prices, and even better gossip.

ACADEMICS OF SHAHEED BHAGAT SINGH COLLEGE IS NOT SO GOOD AS WELL. TEACHERS ARE NOT SINCERE ABOUT COMPLETING THE SYLLABUS. THE SYLLABUS NEVER GETS COMPLETED BEFORE THE EXAMS AND STUDENTS HAVE TO STUDY ON THEIR OWN
PLACEMENTS ARE GOOD HERE IN SHAHEED BHAGAT SINGH COLLEGE. THE PLACEMENT CELL ORGANIZES VARIOUS EVENTS AND INTERNSHIP DRIVE AS WELL ONCE OR TWICE A YEAR. STUDENTS WHO WISH TO SECURE THE INTERNSHIP CAN SIT FOR THE INTERVIEWS WITH THEIR RESPECTIVE CV.

This college provides one of the best infrastructure as compared to other Delhi university colleges, in all the aspects whether it is library planted with AC or the playground well maintained, the classroom have proper ventilation too.
Academics is completely dependent I mean some of the teachers are really good specially the bcom and eco teachers but some just don’t care whether you study or not. If you complete assignments on time and score good marks in testes you are on good side.
I can confidently say that this college has one of the best campus placements because the placement cell has good ties with the big four companies Deloitte, KPMG, EY and PWC they also help in providing internships to various students.
Dear Dilanshi,
Shahid Bhagat Singh College (SBSC) is great in all the aspects. SBSC is accredited by grade 'A' by NAAC . The college has good infrastructure and great facilities too. It provides you with peaceful and happy environment to study. The faculty here is highly qualified and well experienced. I would suggest you to choose SBSC for bright future and yes it is great for pursuing B.com(bachelor's in commerce) program too. Also the p lacement cell of the college has a remarkable record.
Whereas,
Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College (ARSD) college is also accredited grade 'A' by NAAC. College has big lush green campus. This college also has a very active placement cell. It offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in which BCom hons program has its own good records.
