The infrastructure of this college is not that good as computers in the labs are too old and do not work properly and desks in the classes are not good. The washrooms are not well maintained and hygienic.
I am pursuing b.com hons from Shaheed Bhagat Singh because its nearby my home and good for commerce students and the faculties are also well educated and cooperative as they help students in all the things.
I am not sure about placement of the college but its overall rating is good and some of our seniors got placed in some of the good companies like Deloitte, Urban company etc. But the societies of the college are active and good.
Infrastructure was overall good classes are spacious and good, wifi facilities are no tso good but library and laboratory are well equipped. College grounds are also in good Maintainence and hygiene is also average.
I am studying bcom hons, the teachers here are supportive and well experienced. So it will help us a lot. Curriculum is good and but some subjects needed to be more specified and focussed on. The practical Applications.
The Quality of placement is the main reason I got attracted to the college. Regular internship opportunity helps to develop our Future prospects . College and techers are very supportive and there is Special societies for Guidance also.
This college is pretty good in it's infrastructure. We have all the basic amenities required. The systems in the labs are a bit old. But new systems will be arriving shortly. Moreover a new floor is being created and an auditorium will be made. There is free wifi connection too. Books in the library need to be upgraded however all kinds of book are available.
I am currently pursuing B.Com Hons. from this college. Shaheed Bhagat Singh College is known for its Academics. The faculty here is simply amazing. They help us be career conscious. This college is best known for the field of Commerce and related fields.
Placements is one of the reasons why I prefer Shaheed Bhagat Singh College. Big 4 companies like Delloite and KPMG come for placements. The placement cell helps immensely in this process. Last year almost 200 students got placed.
° Shaheed Bhagat Singh college, Delhi University:- The college has great infrastructure. It has a huge and beautiful playground, the campus is green with beautiful trees and plants and you will get peaceful vibe in the college. The classrooms are comfortable and have smart boards, wifi connection. There is sports room, girls common room, boys common room, beautiful computer labs and most importantly the Library of Shaheed Bhagat Singh college is one of the best library of DU.
I am pursuing Bachelor of commerce honours from Shaheed Bhagat Singh college because it is considered as 2nd best college for commerce students, SRCC is obviously 1st. The teachers are well educated and frank and the teaching style is awesome of all the professors i met. But the only bad thing about our education system is that they only focus on theortical knowledge and ignores the practical part which will definitely get better in upcoming years as per New education policy.
One of the reason you can consider SBSC because of it's placement opportunities. The placement cell and Even internship cell are very active and some valuable companies come in the college to place the students. Although I don't have any personal experience about placement as i am in 2nd year but according to records, it is actually a good option in terms of placements.
The college is definitely value for money as the annual fees for Bcom hons. Of 1st year is rs. 8000 and 2nd year is rs. 10,000 that is comparatively nominal. You will get quality of time , exposure and overall a great experience in the college. And if you get placed and even if you get an internship, it will be really worthy.
The college will not create any problem in your college life either you are enjoying or preparing for some exam as the college is not strict about attendance. The college has a great library, playground and canteen. So, if you want peaceful environment, you can definitely consider SBSC. If you're an outstation students, dont worry about PG's as there a lot of pg's and flats for students nearby college. There are always guards on the gate and the areas is all safe.
The only thing i would say from my personal experience is that if you're Sure about your future goals and just want bachelor's degree then go ahead with Shaheed Bhagat Singh college but don't make big and false expectations from college and the the same thing applies on every South campus college.
Yes my college has all the necessary facilities and equipments. The infrastructure is very good and organised. There are various kinds of classroom’s depending upon the size of students. Every classroom is maintained with proper desks, smartboards and other equipments
I am pursuing B.Com hons and The teachers are very supportive and provide quality education. Not just the teachers but the staff and officers are very helpful in every aspect. I am studying this course because it gives me variety of job opportunities in various fields like marketing, finance, entrepreneurship etc
Being a first year im not really in a place to judge the placements but according to my seniors and looking at the alumni, the placements are ver good ranging from top MNCs to indian and international banks. The placement cell is very informative
My course costs ₹11.5k per year. It definitely is worth it, every now and then the college develops in different aspect, the hygiene, the help, the rooms, sports, events, everything is worth the money.
I enjoy my college, specially spending time in the ground and parks within the college in the sun specially in winters. It definitely is in a good location and is safe, there are hospitals, police stations and other educational institutions around so safety is on top. Besides that, the canteens are a bonus with vatiey of food and drinks which are only freshly made and served. Right outside are lots of cafes which adds onto the food choices
College infrastructure is quite good although it doesn't have auditorium or hostels but the labs, libraries and sports complex are quite well maintained maybe not having an auditorium or hostel can be the reason for 3 stars but the hygiene and the proper classroom and facilities or the equipment used for sport complex or the laboratories do exist. Also college infrastructure is quite good and well maintained.
The college do has a very good faculty as most of the teachers has completed their study from the renowned university's like Jamia or jnu this is reflected their teaching. College is considered as one of the best college amongst DU for the commerce courses although the arts courses do have their significance and the college only offer maths as a science course. College is very good academically and it do have a good reputation in the university
As mentioned before the college do has a dominance of commerce courses and college is do considered as one of the best college of the university for the commerce courses thus college do has a very good placements, the placement cell and the career guidance cell of college is quite active which is also the reason why college has good placements. Many good companies do visit college and they do hire the graduates on a good salaries.
The fees is around same for all the all courses offered by the college which is around 10000 to 14000 talking about the art courses, it is around 10k to 11k and talking about the commerce courses it is around 11k to 12k it is not going to cost you more than 14k per year including the practical fees for any of the courses offered by the college considering the college comes under government 10k is also a pretty good amount but the college has facilities which overshadows fees of the colleges.
College do has a very good campus life the college is located in Sheikh Sarai and the college has both evening and the morning shift thus the area around the college is dominated by the students, also the college has a good crowd of the jaats and gujjars. The college is quite good culturally and also has many renowned societies which helps in maintaining the cultural environment in the college despite of the poor or not so good crowd.
The college academically has a very good reputation and the faculty is quite well. Talking about my course I do have a very good faculty. Culturally the college have some magnificant cultural society due to which the college has a cultural environment. College has the good infrastructure and the crowd or the no auditorium and now the 66% compulsory attendance are the things that I don't like about the college
Our college provides one of the best and advanced facilities compared to other colleges of Delhi University. We have a huge library for bookworms and a really attractive and spacious computer lab. The classrooms are good and have a good environment. There is no hostel in our college.
The teachers are very experienced and have been teaching for a long time. They are very friendly and cooperative with students. Many of the teachers are very frank with us. We are having online classes for months now, and all the teachers have been very supportive and encouraging us.
The placement cell is good, and it always looks forward to its students. Students get placed according to their studies and college. Students who want to get placed have to just listen to their mentor and regularly follow their studies. They will help you a lot in your studies and course.
Much Better infrastructure as compared to others. Have 6 blocks with lawns ,Canteen and a stationery shop in the campus itself. The overall vibes of this college is the one which everyone likes and desires too have as so called college life. The area where main college building is situated is in New Delhi (South) and have a good connectivity with busses and metro and even private taxis add help to its connectivity.
Academic as a name suggest Delhi University is a renowed university across whole Asia and This college is a part of the same. Well Qualified Faculty and have a centre library which is so huge in size and helps every student to enhace its knowledge.
Placement as heard are much better than the other of same kind. Many companies like THE BIG FOURS visits every year and perform the place ment drives and gives chace to the deserving one. Overall placement is good
Yes for sure it is value for, being a governmnet college the fee structure is comparitively flexible and pretty less as compared to the others of the same kind. Every cousre have a different fees structure and i found it worth for me.
Campus life is as good as one needed. Various societies and other activites enhances the overall beauty of campus and helps in explaining the true meaning of what college life is called. What makes a better capmus life is your friend circle if u have a good circle everything is sorted..and vice versa.
Yess. Due to the lockdown i did not get a chance to explore my college to the fullest. But i have visited 4-5 times and i think it is very well organized. It has all the necessary infrastructure and the basic facilities. I have seen the images of our library, labs etc. And i think it is all very well equipped.
Im studying B.com prog. Though i have never seen my teachers. But the online classes have been very interactive all through and i really appreciate all the teachers and their hardwork. I think my curriculum considering the online mode of study includes all the required updates and developments.
I have heard about many great stories from the placement department. And i have seen many of my seniors of the same course getting placed at reputed organizations for great packages. I hope i also get placed at my dream job.
It is highly appreciated that the govt. Intitutions are providing us with the basic education at such a affordable price considering most of the population is stuck in the middle class group or lower than that. This money invested in my graduation is totally worth it.
Well how can i rate something which i have never seen, never experienced. But when i talk to my seniors and they share their experience of their campus life. It all sounds so fascinating. I hope i get to live that someday.
I love it here! It is overall a great deal. I highly recommend this college to the upcoming batches. Lets hang in there and i hope my golden years are not wasted sitting at home only. Till then we need to have patience and take good care of ourselves.
Yes, shaeed bhagat singh college have good infrastructure. It has huge library with variety of books, so that students get books easily which they want. Classroom are aslo so cleaned and are of medium size. College have h big ground for sport's activities and also for college events and programs.
I am studying b.com and this college is one of the best college for commerce. Teachers are so understanding , they explained each and everything very nicely. This college prepare student for practical life also
80% of student got placement. Decent companies come for recruitment. Minimum salaray package is 2.5LPA. Placement process is easy and college is so supportive in the placment process. I have know many of my seniros who got good placement.
Cost of per year hi aprrox 10000...i think i am getting my money's worth.. this college have one of the lowest fee structure so that student from any background can take admission easily....money will not be the problem for that
College campus is too big . Students are so friendly and teachers also. They take each amd every doubt of students. Student can engaged in any activities which they like like dance, singing, drama ..there are different societies for that. Location of College is also safe.
I think this college is best for commerce students who want to make their career. If you get a chance of admission you should not hesitate. Every student have a dream to go college and enjoy their college life..you will get you best experience in this college
