      Academics

I am pursuing Computer Engineering Diploma here. The teaching staff is experienced and cooperative. They teach in a simple way so that students can understand easily. The syllabus is as per MSBTE and includes both basics and advanced topics. Practical sessions in labs are conducted regularly which helps in better understanding. Teachers also give guidance for projects and viva. The academic support is good and helps students to prepare for jobs as well as further studies like B.Tech.

      College Infra

My experience at Shivajirao S. Jondhale Polytechnic, Asangaon has been good overall. The college has all the necessary infrastructure for Computer Engineering students. Classrooms are spacious and well-ventilated. Labs have required equipment and computers which are maintained regularly. The library has good technical books and reference material. Campus is clean and green. Faculty is supportive and helps with doubts. WiFi and basic facilities are available. Overall, it is a decent college for diploma students in this area with good focus on studies...

      Campus Life

The campus of Shivajirao S. Jondhale Polytechnic, Asangaon is best for its peaceful and green environment. The campus is clean and provides a good atmosphere for studying. Best features are spacious classrooms, well-maintained computer labs, and library. Students can engage in annual functions, Navratri celebrations, cultural programs, sports events and technical competitions. Teachers are supportive and experienced. They help students in academics as well as projects. Support staff is also cooperative and helpful. The worst part is that there are limited big companies for campus placement and fewer industry visits. Location is safe and easily accessible from Asangaon station. The college area is safe for both girls and boys. In case of emergencies, the college staff and administration respond quickly and basic first aid is available. Overall, it is a good campus for diploma students with decent activities and a safe environment.

      Placements

Our college has a dedicated placement cell which works hard to bring companies for campus recruitment. They conduct training sessions, mock interviews and soft skill classes to prepare students. Many students from my batch got placed in IT and technical companies. The college keeps us updated about off-campus and internship opportunities as well. Faculty members also help in career counseling. For a rural area polytechnic, the placement opportunities are satisfactory and helpful for students to start their career.

      Value For Money

The annual fees for my Computer Engineering Diploma is around ₹25,000 to ₹30,000 per year. I feel the fees is reasonable compared to the facilities, labs, and teaching provided by the college. There is also scholarship facility available for both girls and boys in our college which helps students a lot. The infrastructure, library, and practical training we get is good. Considering the education quality and support for placements and higher studies, I think we are getting proper value for the money. It is affordable for middle class families.
