The college campus is good, it has a clean and clear atmosphere with a lot of greenery. It has a big library and the canteen is , I'll say , average, not much tasty food . Some facilities are not available though but overall it's okay.
I'm a student of economics honours and I must say the teaching faculty of my department is great. Every teacher is punctual and attentive and they held many events which are great help to us...........
Placements are quite average. The salary packages are not very high, just around 2.5 LPA to 3 LPA. And they are generally through the college placement societies that you can get internships. But if you have high expectations you have to look off campus
I paid near about 10,000 rs. for my first year in economics honours and on top of that over 3000 rs. as exam fee for both semesters. For academics i think it's worth the money but there is not much to do.
The first year of my college was quite exhausting. But there are many events held by college societies ( many societies to explore) which are sometimes fun but also boring at the same time. I didn't get to make many friends and as am introvert i also keep some distance from the professors but I have seen to many students the staff, and faculty is quite supportive. And the area around the college is safe.
COLLEGE INFRASTRUCTURE My college infrastructure is nice but lacks all the basic facilities in many areas such as water dispenser, fans and sitting area the infrastructure is not good as i have expected, it can be more better if worked on.
ACADEMICS The faculty of my college is 1/5 for me. The professors are not serious at all about studies. All the professors of major subjects are not helpful at all. Professors focus more on theoretical lectures more than practical which makes lectures boring.
Placements The placement opportunities in my college is very less. Very few companies approach the placement cell where the chances of getting hired is very rare. Students often need to depend on off-campus opportunities.
Campus Life My Campus life is not that good but it could be more engaging if i have choose other college. The college organizes few events which somehow gets cancelled anyway. If you're looking for fun in colleges i suggest you to search for other college.
Yes my college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. The classrooms are well maintained and library is well stocked. The laboratories are equipped with the required instruments and the overall environment is clean, safe and conductive to learning.
I am studying bcom to build a career in commerce and finance . The teachers are knowledgable and supportive. The curriculum is well updated and covers practical and industry- relevant topics. Also the way of teaching is so easy.
The placement opportunities are average, with several companies visiting the campus each year. Around 50 to 60% of interested students get placed. The highest packages are offered to the top performers , while internships are also available for students.
The bcom course fee is around 12000 which is affordable compared to many other colleges . I feel it offers good value for money because of the quality teaching, academic support and learning opportunities provided throughout the program makes the fee worthwhile
The college campus is clean spacious and provides a positive learning environment for learning. It has well maintained classrooms , a library , computer labs , all sports facilities and a canteen. Various cultural events , seminars, workshops and sport competitions are organized throughout the year giving students opportunities to develop their skills and participate regularly.
Overall my experience at the college has been positive. The faculty is supportive , the campus environment is friendly and there are good opportunities for academic and personal growth. With a few improvements in infrastructure and placements, college can provide an even better experience for future students.
Yes our college have all the necessary things like lift and ramps for specially abled students and staff .The college also have whole another building for library with 2 floors with air conditioning on both floor. Washrooms are bit dirty and unhygienic. Classrooms have smart boards and projectors. The living space is clean and the canteen food is also pretty good and hygienic.
I am pursuing B.El.Ed because i want to become a teacher . The quality of teaching is pretty decent, teachers are also good in nature nd way of teaching is great Yes, my curriculum is totally updated nd include all the recent development on the field . It does makes you job- ready as our curriculum will help me in my job preference
In our clg students do get placements but for my course they have not opened any opportunities for placements Actually I don't have any idea because my course never made any intiative in such things Other course do give placements but not in B.El.Ed which i don't find great
My course cost me 19-20k per yr Yes , becoz the facilities are great and the faculty nd teaching why is also mice
Best feature is the sports facilities nd clg societies , worst would be the washroom (because not so hygienic) They are supportive nd encouraging. Location is decent nd feel safe , also because it is near to metro station (walking distance) . And yes it can handle emergency because hospital is so near
Only thing that bothers on is the unhygienic washroom. Other than that, overall im pretty satisfied
Overall, the college has an acceptable level of physical resources in Classroom Facilities, a Library, Laboratory Facilities and other basic resources available to students. Overall, the Education Environment at the college is Comfortable for Learning and there are some areas of the campus that could use improved maintenance.
The academic environment for B.Ed at Shyama Prasad Mukherji College for Women is average and focuses mainly on theoretical learning along with teaching practice. Faculty members are generally qualified and supportive, helping students with lesson planning, assignments, and practical teaching methods. However, the quality of teaching may vary, as some teachers are highly engaging while others rely more on personal experiences rather than completing the syllabus properly.
Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College for Women (SPM DU) provides a limited number of placements for students of B.Ed. Since this course is largely for teaching as well as academic preparation and not quite as many corporate placements, thus there are fewer placement opportunities available to them currently.
Value money very good low fees .
Campus life very quiet.
No
A great college, also Delhi Universitys infrastructure is good l, because fees are low and according to that it was great our auditorium was the best in whole Delhi University play ground was also too big.
I was part of ncc so did a lot of masti also my professors were too good and the history curriculum was perfect our library was very big also a lot of book were there so yeah it all in all nice. Also we use to get a lot of support from professors
In the arts domain there were no placements opportunities for us at that time. But yes the college do have good traning and placements cells in different domains. In the upcoming years there is improvement needed.
The college has most of the required infrastructure like classrooms, library, and computer labs. However, the WiFi connection rarely works properly and becomes frustrating at times. There are no hostels available, which is inconvenient for students coming from outside. Apart from that, the facilities are average and functional. The campus is decently maintained, though some areas could use better upkeep and modernization.
I am studying B.Com. The teaching quality is acceptable, and most teachers put in effort to explain topics clearly. However, the course feels outdated and does not provide much in terms of real-world skills or practical exposure. It focuses more on theory than actual job-readiness. There is little emphasis on internships or personality development, so it doesn’t really prepare you for work immediately after graduation.
I don’t have much personal experience with placements as it’s handled by a separate cell. From what I’ve heard, a few students get placed with packages around ₹8 LPA, though this seems limited to certain courses and top-performing students. The majority do not get placed directly through the college. The placement process doesn’t seem very active or well-organized for all streams.
My annual fee is around ₹11,450, which is quite affordable compared to most colleges. I wanted to study in a regular DU college, so for that, I would say it’s worth it. The infrastructure and academics are not extraordinary, but for the price, it delivers basic education with recognized value. It’s not premium quality but provides a decent return on investment for the fee charged.
The campus environment is decent, though not very lively. Teachers and staff are cooperative and generally respectful. Safety-wise, I can’t comment much, but it feels okay overall. The major complaint among students is hygiene—washrooms are often dirty and poorly maintained, which is a big issue. Social activities are limited, so the campus feels plain most of the time.
Excellent college with good infrastructure and well maintained buildings but some of the things require maintenance like the lifts and ramps they don't work most of the time so the college needs to improve in these areas.
Academic facilities and services are also available there but some of the times teachers don't come and even if they come some of them only talk about their own experiences without any consideration for the syllabus
I don't know about the placements yet as I'm yet to graduate but I don't think there are high chances of good placements in our course and the other courses they may have a good score in terms of placements.
Yeah accordingly it's not that great but yeah value for money can be said about this college they have nice facilities in terms of so many things like a proper safe and secure environment and campus.
Campus Life is always buzzing and thriving the fest and festivals are amazing you will enjoy .

The college boasts excellent infrastructure with modern classrooms, well-equipped labs, and spacious libraries. Facilities like Wi-Fi, sports areas, and common spaces are top-notch, creating a comfortable and conducive learning environment. Overall, the campus is well-maintained and visually appealing.
The academics of the college are excellent. The faculty members are highly qualified, supportive, and make the learning process engaging and interactive. The curriculum is well-structured and updated according to industry needs
The placement opportunities at our college are excellent. Top recruiters visit every year, and the placement cell provides great guidance through training sessions, mock interviews, and resume-building workshops. Many students get placed in reputed companies with impressive salary packages. The
The college offers good value for the fees charged. The quality of education, facilities, and extracurricular opportunities justify the cost. While some areas like infrastructure or placements could be improved slightly, overall, the experience and learning outcomes make it worth the investment.
Campus life is decent with some enjoyable events and student activities, but it could be more vibrant and engaging. There are limited clubs and fests compared to other colleges, and participation opportunities can be improved. Overall, it provides a moderate college experience with scope for more interaction and fun activities.
The college campus is covered with red buildings and has decent infrastructure, with a air conditioning library where all the resources are available, the college also provides outdoor sports facilities, it has large classrooms with projectors, and a canteen with food facilities. But the college does not provide hostel facilities for girls.
The college has vast curriculum and follows new education policy. The faculty of my course is very knowledgeable and helping. They helps us with all the study materials and resources for study. The teachers conducts group discussion, assignments submission to get the practical aspect for the students.
As per placement reports of previous years, the college does not a good placement record. The placement cell tries its best to attract companies for recruitment. Mostly students does not gets placed, while the average package goes from 3-4 lpa. Very few students prefer to sit for placement.
