The college has most of the required infrastructure like classrooms, library, and computer labs. However, the WiFi connection rarely works properly and becomes frustrating at times. There are no hostels available, which is inconvenient for students coming from outside. Apart from that, the facilities are average and functional. The campus is decently maintained, though some areas could use better upkeep and modernization.
I am studying B.Com. The teaching quality is acceptable, and most teachers put in effort to explain topics clearly. However, the course feels outdated and does not provide much in terms of real-world skills or practical exposure. It focuses more on theory than actual job-readiness. There is little emphasis on internships or personality development, so it doesn’t really prepare you for work immediately after graduation.
I don’t have much personal experience with placements as it’s handled by a separate cell. From what I’ve heard, a few students get placed with packages around ₹8 LPA, though this seems limited to certain courses and top-performing students. The majority do not get placed directly through the college. The placement process doesn’t seem very active or well-organized for all streams.
My annual fee is around ₹11,450, which is quite affordable compared to most colleges. I wanted to study in a regular DU college, so for that, I would say it’s worth it. The infrastructure and academics are not extraordinary, but for the price, it delivers basic education with recognized value. It’s not premium quality but provides a decent return on investment for the fee charged.
The campus environment is decent, though not very lively. Teachers and staff are cooperative and generally respectful. Safety-wise, I can’t comment much, but it feels okay overall. The major complaint among students is hygiene—washrooms are often dirty and poorly maintained, which is a big issue. Social activities are limited, so the campus feels plain most of the time.
Excellent college with good infrastructure and well maintained buildings but some of the things require maintenance like the lifts and ramps they don't work most of the time so the college needs to improve in these areas.
Academic facilities and services are also available there but some of the times teachers don't come and even if they come some of them only talk about their own experiences without any consideration for the syllabus
I don't know about the placements yet as I'm yet to graduate but I don't think there are high chances of good placements in our course and the other courses they may have a good score in terms of placements.
Yeah accordingly it's not that great but yeah value for money can be said about this college they have nice facilities in terms of so many things like a proper safe and secure environment and campus.
Campus Life is always buzzing and thriving the fest and festivals are amazing you will enjoy .
No
The college boasts excellent infrastructure with modern classrooms, well-equipped labs, and spacious libraries. Facilities like Wi-Fi, sports areas, and common spaces are top-notch, creating a comfortable and conducive learning environment. Overall, the campus is well-maintained and visually appealing.
The academics of the college are excellent. The faculty members are highly qualified, supportive, and make the learning process engaging and interactive. The curriculum is well-structured and updated according to industry needs
The placement opportunities at our college are excellent. Top recruiters visit every year, and the placement cell provides great guidance through training sessions, mock interviews, and resume-building workshops. Many students get placed in reputed companies with impressive salary packages. The
The college offers good value for the fees charged. The quality of education, facilities, and extracurricular opportunities justify the cost. While some areas like infrastructure or placements could be improved slightly, overall, the experience and learning outcomes make it worth the investment.
Campus life is decent with some enjoyable events and student activities, but it could be more vibrant and engaging. There are limited clubs and fests compared to other colleges, and participation opportunities can be improved. Overall, it provides a moderate college experience with scope for more interaction and fun activities.
The college campus is covered with red buildings and has decent infrastructure, with a air conditioning library where all the resources are available, the college also provides outdoor sports facilities, it has large classrooms with projectors, and a canteen with food facilities. But the college does not provide hostel facilities for girls.
The college has vast curriculum and follows new education policy. The faculty of my course is very knowledgeable and helping. They helps us with all the study materials and resources for study. The teachers conducts group discussion, assignments submission to get the practical aspect for the students.
As per placement reports of previous years, the college does not a good placement record. The placement cell tries its best to attract companies for recruitment. Mostly students does not gets placed, while the average package goes from 3-4 lpa. Very few students prefer to sit for placement.
One of the best infrastructure of the campus with red bricks. It consists of two buildings one new and other is the old building. The new building consists of lift, which is useful in day to day college life.
The college is Good in Good academics, it provides the students with good faculty members. The professors are very down to earth and has friendly nature. They also teaches the students well and good.
Good placement opportunities- Every year placement drive is set up for providing placements to students after college to gain experience of working. Many companies comes to the college for placements as well as for internships.
The college infrastructure is all over good. We don't face much issues for it. We have 2 buildings where classes are conducted. The college canteen is also good. The college ground is huge where we have fests. The auditorium of our college is also large in comparison to other DU colleges like some of them do not have a proper auditorium. The college campus is amazing. We have classrooms in the college, laboratories, library, sports gym, hostel for teachers and wi fi. They are well maintained. The living space in the canteen is clean but the food is not so hygienic.
I am studying BA Program with Hindi and Philosophy. The quality of teaching is average in our department. Teachers do not have to put a lot of efforts in the teaching. The curriculum updates every time and includes some recent developments. No, the study does not make the job ready.
The placement cell is active in the college. They provide us internships and conduct seminars. I do not have much idea about that. They engage the students to participate in these events and promote internships in the placement cell group.
My course costs 8k per year. Yes, I think I am getting my money's worth as I have interest in those subjects and I like my college environment.
The campus life is good. Best features are it's peaceful environment and especially our friends who make the college life easy and survival. Worst features are the college admin staff who are always rude to the students no matter how much emergency is there. The teachers are sweet especially of our Hindi Department. The English department teachers, some of them, are rude. The location of the college is safe and for emergency there is maharaj agrasen hospital which is the nearest to our college.
I think this would be enough.
College infrastructure is better as compared to other off campus colleges, i would say its kind of top college in off campus du. There are big classrooms, have wifi connection, a library. Betterment is required in sports centres and no hostel facilities. But campus is well maintained. Do have an indoor canteen with a good taste and reasonable price.
Faculty is good and supportive. I have studied b.com from ncweb, its kind of good faculty, but would say not such a good crowd of students. Our college has an updated curriculum but less options for VAC, SEC, GE.
There is active placement cell of shyama prasad Mukherjee college, du. But specifically more for b.com (H) , eco(H) , b.com and students with more tech skills get advantage. The placement process is easy.
The college infrastructure is quite decent and the material used in the college infrastructure is the best and also the college infrastructure is the best one from all the colleges around my colleges.
The academic of my college is the best and the alumini of the my colleges are the best projected by our colleges. The teachers and the other staff members supported us a lot during my college time and the academic unit is outstanding
I got a placement and internship from my college within itself and the management of placement cell is soo good and nice. I did everything but many things are in hand of college and they manage so good and very nicely.
The fee I paid for my college is 25 thousand I think and the course intergratiin and miscellaneous all link in same. Also the all my money is utilized in good things and best college I have seen value for money.
College life is so good and very nice of mine and the college activitee and college society gives us a very good time all the activitee I did during the break time . All the college activites are good and nice.
Shyama Prasad Mukherji college for women, New Delhi have an amazing infrastructure with all the necessary facilities like big air conditioned library, auditorium, well maintained classrooms and huge sports ground and courts. All the living spaces are clean and the food is hygiene.
I have pursued here my Bachelors of Arts in hindi honours as it I have an intense interest in this field. The quality of teaching here is very nice with very supportive and experienced teacher. The curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field.
The quality of placement here is pretty decent. There is also a placement cell in the college which is very cooperative and helpful for getting the offer. The average package is around 4-5 LPA while the highest is around 10 LPA +.
Shyam Lal college is affiliated with Delhi University. College has very spacious campus and infrastructure. College maintain proper classroom with window, desk, chair tables. Many society are available for extracurricular activities like sports events, chaalang, nukkad natak.
Faculty of shyam lal college are very dedicated towards teaching and also providing proper guidance to students through the campus period. College also provide career counselling session and proper curriculum for students career growth.
College has average placement fr B. Com honors as many company came for profile of taxation, financial reporting etc. College has competitive exam preparation collaboration with Institute like Vision Ias, Dristi, Catking etc.
