SMIMS Gangtok Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The boys hostel has three-seater 200 furnished rooms for the students so that they can study well. Mess facility is available at the hostel that provides hygienic and tasty food.  A proper water supply is available along with the attached toilets to the rooms. 

Girls hostel has a capacity to accommodate 300 students who can comfortably live at the place. The hostel room consists of a study table, chair, mattress, cot, book rack, and wardrobe for the students.

Central Referral Hospital having a capacity of 500 beds is available near the campus. The hospital consists of 11 operation theatres, 2 minor operation theatres, 21 specialties, and other facilities available. 

The college library has 18,727 text and reference books available for the students. It also has different periodicals, journals, and magazines available at the library.

Students can keep themselves physically and medically fit by playing different indoor and outdoor games. They can enjoy sports such as cricket, volleyball, football, basketball, chess and many more at the college.

Sikkim Manipal Institute of Medical Sciences facilities include a well-furnished IT infrastructure. Proper computer systems, along with the internet, are available at the college.

Cafeteria is available for the students and faculties where they can enjoy their favourite snacks and beverages. They can order their favourite snacks from the available food options that are hygienic.

The college has an auditorium to host the events, workshops and seminars. It has proper sound systems along with the mic and projector facilities. 

The college has dedicated laboratories for each department where students can conduct different experiments. They can perform practicals and learn about the uses of different machines at the labs.
