Academics
I have done my diploma in electrical engineering, and their quality of teaching is good. They focus more on practical learning which is a plus point. I have learned many things which ultimately helped me a lot.
College Infra
The college has average facilities, infrastructure, there is laboratories but not good enough. We have sports center also. The classrooms are okay and the campus is medium in size manageable. Hostel is not provided and canteen food is good.
Placements
Even though it is a polytechnic college but there is very less career opportunities coming into the campus. Ultimately you have to search for a work by yourself. The placement cell is not working properly.

i have done my diploma in mechanical engineering, learned a lot from my teachers. they are very supportive nature, I think the course moreover needs more updates as todays world is keep growing. The course will somehow make you capable of earning by doing basic works.
College Infra
The silchar polytechnic college is situated in meherpur, it has all the infrastructure, facilities, and equipment. The classrooms have projector, and for practical all the equipments available. but there is no wifi, smart boards and all. There is a small ground where we can play. overall the campus is clean and tidy.
Placements
The quality of placements at my college is very poor. We were asked to pay some amount for something i guess related to such opportunity but nothing happened afterword. It lacks behind in this thing. It should be there. hope they do something and brings such openings for upcoming students.

Diploma in Electrical Engineering - Batch of 2021-01-01
Academics
I completed my diploma in electrical engineering of 2021 batch. You can rest assured about teachers they are very good at teaching. They taught us so well and we learnt alot from them. And they are very friendly and supportive nature. Yes the curriculum was updated. And the practical classes were so knowledgeable and good.
College Infra
The college has all the necessary facilities, infrastructure and equipment. There are library, sports center, canteen, laboratories but wifi facility was not there. The living places are so clean and well maintained. Yes the food quality is hygienic.
Campus Life
I enjoyed my best time there. The teachers even took us to trip. College life was awesome.
Placements
The college does provides placements to its students. Many of my friends got placed with high packages. I had some other career plans so I did not sit for placements. But overall it's functional and the college was very supportive.
Value For Money
Yes it is.

Hello there. Hope you are doing good. I would like to tell you that Silchar Polytechnic offers four diplomas name Diploma In Mechanical, Diploma in Electrical, Diploma in Civil Engineering and Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication engineering. Since you are a computer student and looking for compute based diplomas, it is not available in this institute.
