Broadly, the minimum eligibility criterion for admission into any diploma program shall require that a candidate has passed the 10th or equivalent examination from a recognized board. Having basic knowledge in Mathematics, Science, and English is generally expected from a candidate, whereas the course requirements would differ for the percentage cut-off.

Degree-wise Admission Process

Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering: Merit Based admission through direct application to the Institute. Very general in the field of electrical and electronic systems.

Diploma in Electronics and Communications Engineering: Admission based on performance in the qualifying examination and any entrance test conducted by the institute. Training of students in electronics and communications will be given by this program.

Diploma in Computer Science Engineering: This program aims to challenge students to evolve into tomorrow's IT professionals. Selection involves screening on qualifications and performance on an aptitude test.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: Merit will be based on average marks obtained in qualifying examinations for admission. It will involve formal education on mechanical systems and manufacturing processes.

Diploma in Civil Engineering: Will be awarded to candidates on merit in the qualifying examination. The program prepares students for civil construction and infrastructure development.
