Sri Vidhyanikethan Polytechnic is the Industrial Growth Centre on HN Pura Road and provides diplomas in different branches of engineering. The institution prides itself in being active in the delivery of quality technical education to its would-be engineers. It strives to create and sustain a warm ambiance in which students can exploit their skills and knowledge regarding engineering, with a significant faculty of 31 members. 

Eligibility: Sri Vidhyanikethan Polytechnic shall have initiated the application process for selection of the most eligible candidates to her diploma programs. Main eligibility condition for admission into any diploma program has required candidates to have passed 10th or equivalent examination from a recognized board. For a candidate, basic knowledge in Mathematics, Science, and English skills is generally expected, whereas cut-off may vary depending on course requirements.

Application Process:

1. Availability of Application: Applications may be obtained online or at the admissions office.

2. Completion of Application: The application form should be completed with personal, academic, and desired degree program information by the applicant.

3. Submission of Documents: Along with the application form, the candidates shall also submit the following:

   • Passport-size photographs

   • Mark sheet and passing certificate of 10th standard

   • Proof of date of birth

   • Caste certificate (if required)

   • Any other necessary certificates

4. Application Fee: The application fees should be paid, as indicated by the official notification, by the candidate, and will not be refundable. All details concerning the fee amount and mode of payment will be communicated to the candidates while applying.

5. Submission of Application: Duly filled application forms should reach before the last date along with the required documents as mentioned.

6. Review and Shortlist: All applications will be checked according to eligibility and academic criterion by the Institute. After the screening, selected candidates may be called for further selection procedure depending upon program and institutional policy, which may include a written test or an interview.

7. Updates and Notifications: Candidates are advised to keep checking updates with respect to their application status and way forward through the official channels.

Degree-wise Admission Process:

Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering: Merit based admission through Direct Application at the Institute. Very generic in the field of electrical and electronic systems.

Diploma in Electronics and Communications Engineering: Merit based admission; performance in the qualifying examination and any entrance examination that may be instituted by the institute for purposes of admission. This program would enable students to receive training in electronics and communications.

Diploma in Computer Science Engineering: The program seeks to challenge students to develop into the IT professionals of tomorrow. Screening is done on qualifications and performance at an aptitude test.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: Merit shall be based on average marks obtained in qualifying examinations for admission. It shall include structured learning in mechanical systems and manufacturing processes.

Diploma in Civil Engineering: To be awarded based on merit in the qualifying examination. The program prepares learners for civil construction and infrastructure development.
