Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Engineering is four years (8 Semester) full-time undergraduate engineering program offered by SRM Valliammai Engineering College, Kancheepuram and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and approved by AICTE.

Eligibility Criteria

Pass in HSC (Academic) or its equivalent with a minimum average percentage in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, put together as given below.

MBC & DNC 40 %
SC / SCA / ST 40 %

A pass in any one of the HSC (Vocational Subject) as given below with any one of the Engineering related subject namely Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry, with a minimum average percentage put together as given below.

Admission Details

Candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in the HSC (+2) examination conducted by the state and through counselling (TNEA) conducted by Anna univeristy Chennai, selected candidates are allotted to various colleges for admission. Candidates may also appear directly for admission to the College under Management Quota. Admission forms may be obtained from the college office.

College Infrastructure

SRM Valliammai Engineering College boasts good campus connectivity, with easy access to public transportation and being situated close to the main road, making it readily reachable from various parts of Chennai; the campus itself is well-maintained and offers essential facilities like a hospital, food services, and a strong Wi-fi network, Contributing to a convenient campus life experience. The college provides good hostel facilities and hospitality with healthy and hygienic food for our hostel students. The calm and beautiful environment is conductive for studies, suitable for walkers to have a pleasant walk on the well-laid pavements under the natural avenues and lawns. There are two separate hostels for boys and girls students accommodating about 1200 students. All the hostels have the necessary infrastructure and modern kitchens. The inmates are provided with a cot, a chair and a table.

A good environment with experienced and friendly faculties.

College Infrastructure

Our college has well planned infrastructure and amenities like academic buildings,laboratories, administration Wing,hostel buildings and good play ground.The central library in the campus provides excellent books and materials.Wifi facility is available in the campus.Individual laborataries for all the departments well equipped with components and instruments in good working condition.

College Infrastructure

Yess this college is too big and it all has all the Fecilities here inside our college itself... There are many shops inside of our campus itself we did not want to get out for anything, everything can be bought inside of our campus itself
