      St Johns College of Engineering and Technology, Kurnool Admission Process

      St. John's College of Engineering and Technology (SJCET), Kurnool, is a recognised institution within the undergraduate and postgraduate courses of all engineering and management disciplines.  SJCET Kurnool admission process for most undergraduate engineering courses would be through an Andhra Pradesh Engineering and Medical Common Entrance Test: AP EAMCET, which is conducted every year for students seeking admission to various professional courses. Currently, the B.Tech programmes offered at SJCET consider AP EAMCET scores for application processes.

      SJCET Kurnool admission process for majority of postgraduate programmes is done through Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test(AP PGECET). This is a common exam for M.Tech aspirants for admission to various specialisations. The Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (APICET) also considers MBA admission scores for the college. SJCET Kurnool admission process generally begin somewhere about May-June for the academic year that begins in August-September. Candidates are advised to visit the official SJCET website and the relevant entrances for the actual dates and deadlines as they change from year to year.

      SJCET Kurnool Application Process

      The process of application differs at St. John's College of Engineering and Technology, depending on the programme of study selected:

      For the B.Tech courses:

      • Sitting for the AP EAMCET examination.
      • Achieving a qualifying score that meets or exceeds the cutoff established by the testing agency.
      • Subscription to the state counselling process.
      • Select SJCET and the course required during the counselling.
      • If given, go to SJCET for document verification and the admission process.

      For the M.Tech courses:

      • Writing the AP PGECET examination.
      • Scoring a valid score according to cut-off marks.
      • Register for the state-level counselling process for M.Tech admissions.
      • During counselling, select SJCET and desired specialisation in M.Tech.
      • If allotted, complete the admission process at SJCET.

      For the MBA course:

      • Give the APICET exam.
      • Qualify with a good score.
      • Take action for the state-level counselling for the MBA admission.
      • During that part of counselling, select SJCET.
      • If selected, report to SJCET for the final admission process.

      Candidates must keep such documents ready beforehand to smoothen the counselling and admission process. It is also advised to keep checking the official SJCET website for updates or extra requirements specific to each programme.

      SJCET Kurnool Degree Wise Admissions Process

      The admission process for most undergraduate engineering programmes at SJCET Kurnool is conducted through the Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET).

      SJCET Kurnool B.Tech Admission Process

      B.Tech programmes at SJCET include an undergraduate programme in Electronics and Communication, an undergraduate programme in Computer Science and Engineering, and B.Tech programmes in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering. SJCET Kurnool admission process for these programmes is based on AP EAMCET scores. The total number of seats offered in all B.Tech programmes at the college is 660, with Electronics and Communication Engineering having 180 and Computer Science and Engineering also counting another 180.

      SJCET Kurnool M.Tech Admission Process

      The college offers some specialisations for M.Tech courses such as Computer Science and Engineering, VLSI System Design, Power Electronics, Software Engineering, CAD CAM, and Geotechnical Engineering. Primarily, SJCET Kurnool admission process for M.Tech programmes are based on the scores obtained in AP PGECET. The overall intake for M.Tech courses comprises 165 seats, where Computer Science and Engineering, CAD CAM, and Geotechnical Engineering comprise 24 seats each.

      SJCET Kurnool MBA Admission Process

      An MBA programme at SJCET is offered with a total intake of 120 students. SJCET Kurnool admission process for the MBA course are done through APICET scores. Candidates qualifying in the APICET are eligible to apply for the MBA course in SJCET.

      • 10th and 12th standard mark sheets and certificates.
      • Degree certificates and mark sheets (for PG courses)
      • Transfer certificate
