Surajmal Medical College of Ayurveda and Hospital, Kichha Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has hostel accommodation for students on the institute premises. There are two hostels Boys Hostel having a capacity of 160 seats with single or double seated air-cooled rooms and Girls Hostel having a capacity of 265 seats with double seated air-cooled rooms. The hostel is administered by the chief warden and assisted by the warden/assistant warden. Each room is provided with furniture a student needs, i.e., bed, table, chair, cupboard, etc. Hostel rooms are allotted on a “first come first serve basis”.

As the name indicates Library is a knowledge hub and conglomeration of the Central Library, a Digital Library with a Reading room.

The Central Library occupies 2500 sq. ft. with a seating capacity of 60 students and it houses more than 6809 Volumes /Books 550 Reference books15 Journals 150 CDs including some of the rarest books of Ayurveda along with highly configured systems having Optic Fibre 100 MBPS connectively for Hi-speed internet browsing with Wi-Fi Inability. The whole Library is under the Surveillance of CCTV. The services of the Library are partially Automated with SoftWare. Online publication catalog (OPAC). In addition to the Central Library, all the departments are provided with a Department Library.

The library also provides services to the Department Library which is established in each Department under the guidance of HODs, The latest editions of books and Journals are procured and issued to the Department as per their requirement to facilitate the Staff and students.

The college provides good classroom facilities for all the students.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

The college has smart classrooms facility available for all students.
