it is compulsory to have maths in class 12th if youwant to pursue ba eco honours or bsc. Eco honours. My advice to you would be to choose maths in class 12th as in most of the colleges it is required. But also you can find some other colleges

Generally, the cutoff is 80 percentile for CMAT exam and around 60 percentile for CAT exam. 
But, this is only the min. cut-off bar it can vary with the scores and profile of students applying to get admission in the college this year. So best is to wait
