Overall seems good . Work is under progress will reflect in result in few years. Academic building is well to go with while OPD building is still in progress and gained functionality recently, may be will be properly operated in few months.
Quality of teachers in non clinical and pata clinical subject are really amazing. Professors are updated with new knowledge. College have an ample amount of fculty and staffs.so you will be trained properly here to deal with patients.
This college have a service bond. Just after completing your MBBS we will have to serve a 2 year bond service with good paying service. Placements are overall good as one is eligible to work in corporate depending on skill level.
As it is a government institute it has a minimal fees charge that is a total of around 36k a year that is just nothing as compared to other private colleges. Ofcourse it will be a value for money......
College have table tennis facilities, badminton court, football ground, cricket ground, volleyball ground and alot more. It is safe but right now not well developed to handle emergency situations......
I have overall very good experience at this College. I will recommend choosing this college if you are nature loving as it as full of greeneries. Campus is overall soothing and healing in nature......
Uma Nath Singh Autonomous State Medical College has a developing but well-planned infrastructure. The academic building is spacious with properly ventilated classrooms and lecture halls equipped with projectors. Laboratories for Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry are adequately equipped for practical learning. The dissection hall and demonstration rooms are maintained properly. The attached hospital provides good clinical exposure, which is essential for MBBS students. The library has standard medical textbooks and a peaceful environment for study. Hostel facilities are decent, with basic amenities and security available.
The academic environment is disciplined and focused. Faculty members are qualified and supportive, especially during practical sessions and ward postings. Teaching includes lectures, practical classes, tutorials, and clinical postings from early years. The curriculum follows NMC guidelines and includes competency-based medical education (CBME), which helps in developing practical and communication skills along with theoretical knowledge.
Uma Nath Singh Autonomous State Medical College is a government medical college offering the MBBS course, so traditional campus placements like engineering colleges are not applicable here. Instead of corporate placements, students complete a one-year compulsory internship after final year, which provides practical training in different clinical departments. During internship, students get hands-on experience in OPDs, wards, emergency services, and minor procedures under supervision. The internship stipend is provided as per state government norms.
As a state government medical college, the fee structure is affordable compared to private medical colleges. Considering the quality of education and clinical exposure, it offers very good value for money.
Campus life is simple and academically oriented. Cultural programs and events are conducted occasionally. Hostel life helps build strong peer bonds. The environment is safe and suitable for focused medical studies.
I would recommend Uma Nath Singh Autonomous State Medical College to students who are serious about pursuing MBBS in a government setup with good clinical exposure and affordable fees.
About the infrastructure college is still under construction after 14 years of its foundation being laid. There are no lifts yet and students have to walk through the stairs for upto 6 floors. 3 stars
Academically I'd say the college is Okay Okay . Labs are absent though In some departments and still IPD has not begun properly so learning experience on patients itself is a bit lagging behind. Overall Average on academics
Placements as such are not there in any medical college but there's a service bond of 2 years after the course that govt provides and it's compulsory for every student. College rank is low so college of your choice is difficult to get in the Bond
The fees vary from year to year and it's very cost efficient. Even the poor can get admission and scholarship are provided.
Very poor.
Good infrastructure also includes clean drinking water, hygienic washrooms, and proper sanitation facilities. A reliable electricity supply, Wi-Fi connectivity, and computer labs enhance learning in the digital era. Hostel facilities, if available, should be safe, comfortable, and well-maintained. Sports grounds, gymnasium, and recreational areas contribute to students’ physical and mental well-being. Security measures such as CCTV cameras and trained security staff ensure a safe environment. An accessible campus with ramps and lifts supports students with disabilities. Overall, strong infrastructure creates a positive learning atmosphere, improves academic performance, and encourages holistic development. A college with well-maintained facilities reflects its commitment to excellence in education and student welfare.
The quality of teaching depends largely on the qualifications, experience, and dedication of the faculty members. Regular lectures, interactive teaching methods, and the use of modern technology such as smart classrooms enhance understanding and engagement. Continuous internal assessments, assignments, seminars, and presentations help students develop analytical and communication skills. The curriculum should be updated regularly to meet current industry standards and academic advancements. Availability of academic support services such as mentoring, remedial classes, and career counseling greatly benefits students. Research opportunities, workshops, guest lectures, and industrial visits further enrich the learning experience by providing practical exposure. The college should maintain a transparent examination system with fair evaluation practices. Encouraging participation in conferences, competitions, and extracurricular academic activities promotes overall intellectual growth. A strong academic record, good university results, and successful alumni achievements reflect the institution’s commitment to excellence. Overall, a college with a supportive learning environment, competent faculty, and a well-structured curriculum ensures holistic academic development and prepares students to meet professional and societal challenges effectively.
A good placement cell should be active, organized, and well-connected with reputed companies. Regular training programs such as aptitude classes, mock interviews, group discussions, and personality development sessions help students prepare for recruitment processes.
College infrastructure is not very good. But academic is good. Hospitality facility is good. Both opd and ipd are functional in our college. Surgery department's operation theatre is recently got inaugated.

All the department of medical college is complete in terms of faculties, number of professors are quite good with competent knowledge, Hospital is fully functional so clinical teaching is going and also patient load in opd excess.
MBBS doctor in uttar pradesh have service bond of two year, so they automatically get placement after there degree completion, and they also get offer from private hospitals for the consultation job . Good doctors often get high salary.
College infrastructure is mostly complete and fully furnished, with cricket ground, badminton court, table tennis ???? lawn and volleyball ???? court. Campus road is quite good but there is less plant and trees in campus.
Fees structure for MBBS: 24000 - 36000 / per annum All the department upto 2nd year is complete with good professors and faculties but some department have minimum faculty, Surgery department, medicine department are lace with competent Professors and seniors resident and junior resident doctors
