University College of Engineering, Thirukkuvalai Admission 2025: Dates, Application Form, Courses, Fees & Eligibility

University College of Engineering, Thirukkuvalai (UCET) is a constituent college and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The college has several engineering courses on its 40.21-acre campus in Thirukkuvalai, Tamil Nadu. 

University College of Engineering admission procedure is made in a fair manner and with equal opportunities for all the applicants.

For undergraduate courses, University College of Engineering, Thirukkuvalai provides seven full-time BE (Bachelor of Engineering) courses. The minimum eligibility requirement for these courses is probably the successful completion of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects, which is common for engineering admissions in India.

Going by the usual procedure for engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu, the following is most likely to be done:

• The candidates first need to appear for the concerned entrance test (TNEA for Tamil Nadu candidates or JEE Main for others).
• Once the results are declared, shortlisted candidates need to go to the official UCET website to get the online application form.
• Complete the application form with proper personal and academic information.

• Make payment of application fee by the stipulated mode of payment.

UCET has seven BE (Bachelor of Engineering) full-time courses with an overall intake of 300 seats (60 seats each for five programmes, and two Tamil medium programmes with seat information not provided). The programmes that are available include:

• BE Computer Science and Engineering (60 seats)
• BE Electrical and Electronics Engineering (60 seats)

For all the BE courses, the candidates are required to have passed their 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as major subjects. Admission is probably made on the basis of rank scored in appropriate entrance tests, for example, TNEA for students of Tamil Nadu or JEE Main for others.
