There is no extra activities and fun and average faculty even no infrastructure poorest placement. so , I think Don't join this college. Management is also poor. Overall you can say that: From the college you will get nothing except degree. You have to prepare yourself for competitive exam(Like Gate , PSU or any other) for getting job. The faculty/professors are also not supporting for the competitive exam even the 7th semester exam will conducted around till 15 january and also have to complete the project at the same time. So you will not get sufficient time for preparation. There is no industry visit and very poor practical knowledge provided to the students. If you want to get only an Engineering degree with a Govt. college then you can take admission otherwise, don't even think about it. Now is your choice, enjoy!!

if your sole purpose is to get a Engineering degree with a Govt. tag or if you're so afraid of getting tortured in the name of ragging, then only go for it. But otherwise, don't even think about it. Go & get your degree from a private college, at least you'll get campusing. Here, your life & 4 years will seriously be ruined no matter how you try to do it (exception is for the ones who are very good at oiling, and bonus if you're a girl over that.) I have come to understand a simple fact, if you don’t want to do something, nobody can make you do it. You can’t expect to be spoonfed here, because the stuff they teach may be up to date but the way they teach it, its questionable. You won’t learn anything here. You will only be mugging things up (most probably from the Xerox) and vomiting it down on the exam day. But if you really want to learn there are some faculty that are extraordinary. Overall, like an average High School.

In UIT, BU, i had learnt a lot, experienced a lot. Students who will get enrolled here may have heard that this college has poor records in placement. This information is absolutely true if you want job after 4 years of engg. Uit is not that place of guarantee placement. But what you not know is about its college life, seniors are friendly and helpful. New ideas are always welcomed. If you have the will to get it, the support will come eventually. Teaching is good though opportunity of internship is less. Individual effort for excellence works a lot in UIT. All in all, its a good college for enjoying college life, study and party but not for job placement. College Infrastructure is fair and needs a hell lot of improvements.
