ApplyRanked amongst top 3% universities globally (QS Rankings).
Hey Aspirant,
I think you are making some mistake because to take admission in Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute, you should qualify in Maharashtra common entrance test(MHTCET). So, if you have appeared in this exam, tell me your rank so that I will e able to tell you your chances of getting admission in VJTI.
I hope that the above information is useful to you.
Hi aspirant
You might get the college .Though the cut off for General other state candidate is high.
Check the detailed cut off for all the streams of the College of Engineering Pune.
If your rank lie within then most probably you'll get it.
Go to page no: 865 here:https://images.careers360.mobi/sites/default/files/MHT-CET-2018-Cap-Round1-Cutoff.pdf
If not in 1st round ,you'll definitely get it in subsequent rounds.
All the best.
Hello
50% seats are reserved for SC, ST, OBC and other. Out of other 50% part, one third seats are reserved for girls.
Consider example of first year BTech or BE:
There are 63 seats for first year :
So, for General Open category there are 20 seats for each branch of BTech/BE.
No sports quota is there in VJTI.
Ihope it will help you
Good luck...
Hello!
Various factors decide whether you will get in or not:
Branch
Cast
Defense
Physically challenged
Jammu and Kashmir domicile
Plus, what branch you are looking forward to is also important. Mechanical, civil, electrical and electronics engineering branches have higher cut off (91-95%), so you won't be able to get those. However, you might want to try for textile engineering and chemical engineering branches.
Good luck!
Dear aspirant,
If we consider the previous year cutoff then you are not eligible to get admission there. You should have at least 95 percentile in order to get a seat in Vjti. Below is the previous year cutoff rank or score, now you can see each branch requirements.

Hey there, first of all as you are non maharashtrian at time of counseling the government colleges of maharashtra will not appear for you. Only home state student can fill the government colleges . Since vjti is a government college of mumbai you are not eligible for it.
Hey there as per your percentile in cet and previous year cutoff there are unlikely less chances to get coep, pune. The cutoff for all branches are below 3500 in final round. Similarly the cutoff for all branches in vjti, mumbai are below 3000 . Except textile technology (10163) and production engineering (5276).

Good luck.
The facilities and infrastructure available for the course/department, such as Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and the library, are very Good . The quality of the facilities in the hostel, the quality of the food available in the mess and canteen, the medical facilities, and the sports and games are all very Good .
The classrooms are decent enough, with wooden benches, projector and AC's. Wi-Fi works in some classes and doesn't in others. The library is too good. It has all the books that you will ever need. It even has good Wi-Fi. You can be in the library for a whole day without feeling bored. The mess has okayish food—not that great. The canteen has better food than the mess. There's a cricket ground, a football ground and a basketball court as well, which is really good.
College has a very good infrastructure, however, the infrastructure is now old and there are efforts being put to renovate the college. Labs are a bit outdated, but the college is bringing in new facilities. The hostels are also undergoing changes and the new PG hostel has super good facilities.
