As per the two choices given by you that is vit chennai cse core or cse specialisation at srm main campus. So, let me be very clear that in these two courses there won't be any kind of difference in terms of placements ,faculty or even infrastructure.

So, you can choose any of the two depending on your choice. In my view you can select on the basis of the ROI factor. If you are getting vit chennai at category 1 then opt for that but if not then definitely go for srm University.

Electronics and Communication Engineering is one of the oldest field and also a prime field which has a huge popularity among the students and this is the reason that it also require a higher cutoffs. Now in this particular field you will be learning whole electronics and also some parts of computer as well which makes you eligible to get placed in any of the Tech company as well. The Electronics and Computer Engineering is the mixture and Sub-Branch of the Electronics and CSE field, in this field you study about Electronics and Computer but compare to ECE it has more of the computer knowledge and in this case also you get selected in Tech companies. • Its a private University in Chennai

• Placement Highlights 2020 - Total 544 companies visited including top companies such as Cognizant, TCS, Accenture, Wipro, Infosys, Bank of America, Deloitte, Intel. It holds the record of highest Jobs offered to 278 candidates by WIPRO turbo Company.

Now coming to Second college JNTUH (Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad.

• Its a public University in Hyderabad.

Now talking about CSE program both universities are equally good from the above data which I have mentioned. Now it depends on rank/score of the entrance exam of VIT (VITEEE) and the Telangana EAMCET score for JNTUH, based on which you get admission. I hope you are doing good. As per your query , I woulld like to know you that  VIT chennai is better option than srm main campus for cse . VIT holds 29th rank  in nirf ranking having a strong alumni network and brand name . Facultites are very well qualified many of which are doctorate and class rooms are updated with latest technology . Moreover ,at the time of placement students of chennai campus goes into main campus which creates more opportunities for them . Average package goes around 6lakhs and highest went upto 40 lakhs

Vellore Institute of Technology  University is one of the oldest  private university in India. It is ranked 13th University as private University  according to the ranking offered by Ministry of human resource development.

of course mechanical engineering branches with  all branches of VIT University is good along with the VIT Chennai and also.

Placement of VIT Chennai is also good. Almost 90% to 100% placement for all the branches of studies under VIT University Chennai . The highest salary package 42 lakh per annum, average salary package 6 lacs per annum, lowest salary package is 5 lacs per annum.

ECM is an unique course where you are taught subjects that come under both CSE and ECE. It is a hot branch and should be your first choice.

Electronics and communication engineering is a core branch which utilizes nonlinear and active electrical components to design electronic circuits, devices, integrated circuits and their systems. It has great demands admist the rise of technology and machinery.

At last electrical and electronics engineering deals with the study of application of electricity, electronics and electromagnetism. It should be preferred at last because major a part of it is covered in ECE.

Vellore institute of technology (VIT), Vandalur, Chennai is an AICTE and UGC approved Deemed University. They offer a combination of computer science and electronics engineering as ECM. This is a four years long full time undergraduate degree course. The approximate total fee is INR 7.8 lakhs. The highest salary package offered during campus recruitment for the previous year was 25 LPA for the role of software engineer and the average package was 5 LPA. You should better go with CSE in Manipal institute of technology than EEE in Vellore institute of technology. Considering both the branches and the universities which you have opted these days even the EEE students can grab the software jobs very easily but considering the universities Manipal institute of technology  offers good placements and better academics in computer science engineering compared to the Vellore institute of technology Chennai

Vellore institute of technology has announced that the classes for freshers batch 2021 will commence from 2nd August in online mode. The situation of the ongoing pandemic has not improved in the state to such level that the colleges could be opened offline.
