Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT)  is a Deemed University located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu and was established in the year 1984. The Institute is accredited ‘Grade A’ by NAAC and is approved by University Grants Commission (UGC).  If we go through as per your specific course btech with specialization of EC (Electronic computer )  then it is really good course with highly placements opportunities. This course is combination of electronics and computer you will get also job in both in IT/ITES with electronics sectors .Every year more then 100 companies visited with top recruiters are Accenture, Cognizant, Infosys, TCS and Wipro are among the top IT recruiters Where highest salary package of 10lpa with avg 5 lpa .

the placement of VIT university, chennai is so upto marks , many renowned firms such as ericsson india global services Pvt Ltd , general electric ,renault , oracle , volvo , hexagon , qualcomm render placements to all the graduates  , highest package offered to students was of Rs 39 lakhs per annum , and no of students received highest package were 8 , dream package offered by DE shaw and Co. was of RS 33 lakhs per annum , no of student received same was one .

EEE in vit Chennai will give you many opportunities in terms of research papers, projects, publications etc. There are many good placement opportunities for students of EEE. Many electronics core companies visit the campus for recruitment. However, it must be noted that EEE is not good than ece or cse. But getting EEE in vit under round 2 or 3 of counseling is worth the money.

First of all it depends on your branch Interest which you want to opt for four year program and also depends on the campus in which you want to go.

SRM Institute of Science and Technology includes six campuses, three in Tamil Nadu — Kattankulathur, Ramapuram and Vadapalani, one in NCR Delhi, one in Sikkim and one in Amaravati. And there are about 50,000 students studying in SRM College. whereas VIT  has four campuses , located at Vellore, Chennai, AP-Amravati, and Bhopal. All four campuses provide a variety of undergraduate program

Kattankulathur Campus ,chennai is the main campus of SRM College. which is the best campus in term of infrastructure ,academics and placement.

VIT Vellor is the main Camous for VIT College ,which is again best campus in term of good infrastructure,academics ,and placement .

SRM Chennai being the main campus it have many drawbacks as compared to VIT chennai. so if you trying to choose CSE in SRM  Chennai my opinion is to go for VIT Chennai and opt CSE their because their academics and placement is very good ,and if you are not getting CSE in VIT Chennai then Opt ECE and secure a good CGPA and change your branch in consult with  authority.

SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRM IST), formerly known as SRM University, is one of the top-ranking universities in India.

When we compare it on placements wise there also both college are same. Approx avg package offered is 4-6 lacs per annum.

But when we compare it according infrastructure wise vit chennai is little bit better than srm.

Its important to know that VIT Chennai and Vellore Campus recruitment take place together. So there is hardly any difference in placements in both the campus. The difference in statistics is only due to better quality of students in Vellore Campus.

VIT has managed to achieve 100% placements with average package of around 6LPA. Microsoft offered 40.2LPA for 14 students which is the highest package. Companies like honey well Cisco, Qualcomm and JP Morgan visit our campus for placements.

EEE and ECE, both the courses are good in the respective colleges. But apart from that the other aspects vary from each of them.

As per rankings, VIT tops SSN. This makes sense as the kind of exposure you get in VIT which is a private college is different from SSN. The opportunities provided in VIT is really good for students as you can explore and improve your skills in the field you are interested in. It is also better in terms of infrastructure, education, placements etc.

SSN on the other hand is better in terms of fees as they are cheap while the fees in VIT are generally a bit higher. So this would be a option to consider in that case.

Both VIT/BITS are good along with Nirma or PDPU in Gujarat. In fact, BITS is better than VIT in so many aspects. I would suggest you to aim for BITS as only VIT Vellore Campus is considered to be better among all their campuses. BITS has its own value as you might know, it focuses on your all round development and ensure a smooth career journey from college to your company. The college experience will definitely be one of the best which will allow you to be experienced professionally by the end of your final year.

Colleges in Gujarat like Nirma University and PDPU are good as well, they have really good placement packages and have around 80-90% placement percentage. One huge difference which you may notice is the fees in these colleges are comparatively less than BITS or VIT by a huge margin. So, do consider all the points while deciding your college.
