ApplyRanked amongst top 3% universities globally (QS Rankings).
No chance not at all. Sorry to dis hearten you but that's the reality. There is a cut throat Competition for CSE in VIT especially for Vellore campus but for the sake of category 1 students from rank 4500-7500 tends to choose Chennai campus instead of Vellore in category 2.
So, either it would be 2nd or even 3rd who knows as VIT never discloses any official figure. It is from my personal experience only.
All the best!!
Every college has some pros and cons and eventually it is the student who matters.
Yet I would say that VIT Chennai may be somewhat better in terms of exposure, alumni base, proximity to head institution, etc. VIT Chennai was established back in 2010, so atleast a decade has passed since its operation. So they would have secured better contacts with companies and they will have more experience in handling issues.
Yet take some information from someone who has been there, someone who can provide an insider view. Only after that take any step.
Good luck!
As per past trends, VIT Chennai closing ranks for different courses are as follows:
Civil Engineering 40000
Computer Science and Engineering 14000
Electronics and Communication Engineering 25000
Electrical and Electronics Engineering 28000
Mechanical Engineering 32000
Fashion Technology 55000
Electronics and Computer Engineering 42000
The ranks are prone to change every year. Past data is only for you to get an idea.
Based upon above data, you can predict which courses you are likely to be offered.
hello there!
as you your question is not so clear. but i assume it is related to as vit ap campus admission
Yes, for your rank you have maximum chances to get Computer Science and engineering at VIT University, Amaravati Campus. There are many specialisation courses available in CSE offered by Amaravti Campus. As, the cutoff were not yet released anywhere officially, but mostly you have chances to get CSE.
The tution fee at Amaravti Campus is 1,76,000/- per year. The hostel facility is provided to both boys and girls. The hostel fee is around 84,750/- per year. As the university was established recently so, there is no pass out batch and the placements hasn’t happened for Engineering students. Anyways the University has tie ups with the top companies for best placements. You can definitely expect the best placements because it has tieups .

All the best!
Basically cutoffs changes each and every year as it depends upon various factors and when it comes to VIT Entrance it is more complex as it never disclose any of their previous Cutoffs and all.
But in general it is said that if your rank is in between 4500-5000 then you can easily get CSE in Vellore campus and if is around 8000 then Chennai Campus.
So in your case you will have to go for Category 2 in which your annual fees will be increased.
All the best!!
hello aspirant,
yes, VIT Vellore is good for CSE.
The placements which are the most important thing in VIT Vellore for the Computer Science Engineering branch are good and above average.
academics is also very good in the college.
some of the companies that visit the college are -
amazon, PayPal, eBay, Csico, Qualcom, Via, Cleartrip, PayU, Swiggy, Verizon .
hope that helps
Dear Student,
As this pandemic situation the entrance examination is not conducted this year. The rank is released in the basis of 10+2th level's marks. Here I am giving a previous year cut off marks for the VIT main campus,
The First 20,000 rank holders will be called for the first round counselling (there are more than two or three rounds of counselling conducted every year). University does not declared any official VITEEE cut off 2020. Candidates with less than 31(The marks is given depending on 12th marks) marks are expected having 20000 rank.
It is really difficult to get a chance with this rank but wait and hope for the best.

Thank You.
The college infrastructure is really good. People with interest can easily learn new skills, get into new projects and get well versed in various tech skills. It is really a great place to start or boost ones knowledge. The infrastructure the college provides meets the International standards.
The infrastructure at VIT Chennai is exceptional, surpassing even that of many IITs and other private institutions. The air-conditioned hostels provide comfort, and the quality of food in the mess is commendable.
It has pretty decent infrastructure. We have all the necessity amenities nearby, hence the infrastructure complements the busy student life of engineering. We have Domino's in the campus, also we have in campus gym and salon.
