See the rank u have secured is low but u can get a seat in the VIT Chennai campus as it is a private institution and u can apply for that until the seats get fully filled. U might be getting some of the good branches also. U can also opt for the management quota to avail the seatw of the desired branch in desired campus.

It'll be tough to get good branch with this rank. You can try, if they put you in any category, you can get.

I think Management quota will get over around 60k. You might get a seat but not of your choice. 

If you don't have any other option, take any branch here. Work hard during your first year and apply for stream upgrading.
