Last year closing rank of mechanical engineering at vit, chennai was 32000. So you have good chances to get mechanical at chennai campus. You will also get mechanical At bhopal and amrawati campus.

18109 is considered as a good rank the cut offs aren't out yet that is the opening and closing rank for different branches as it may depend upon many factors like number of applicants fill the form, number of applicants finally appeared in the exam, number of questions
