Vision Institute of Technology, Kanpur offers diplomas in 2 branches viz. Civil engineering and Mechanical engineering. The course duration is 3 years. Applicants who wish to apply for the diploma programme must match the eligibility before applying. The eligibility criteria for the diploma program is passing the 10th grade with a minimum of 35% with science and maths subjects from any recognised board. Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) conducts exams for admission into Polytechnic colleges(both government & private) of UP every year. 

Diploma Admission Process:

• Registrations for JEECUP open in March and are available till the first week of June. Eligible students have to first register on the official website, which is Jeecup.admissions.nic.in. They then have to fill out an application form and pay the application fees. The application fee is ₹300 for general and OBC category candidates and ₹200 for SC/ST applicants.

• The admit card is released in June month itself students have to take a printout of the same while appearing for the entrance exam.

• The entrance is usually held in July.

• The JEECUP score will determine eligibility for admissions into Affiliated colleges of UP Polytechnic 

• The students will be able to check the result on the official website The cut-off list will also be made available to the students. The candidate may expect the result in August.

• After the results are declared the counselling process will begin according to the marks scored in the examination. The candidates will be offered seats in the college based on their scores.

• The counselling round will be conducted in 5 rounds. The students will have to submit ₹250 to participate in the counselling.

• After counselling and seat allocation the student will have to submit ₹3000 to lock the seat.

• The admission will be done following the reservations for different categories of candidates, General/OBC/SC/ST.

• Students will have to visit the official centres for verification of documents.

• After verification, the candidate will be officially admitted into the college.

• Please note that the applicants must be at least 14 years old.

The institute offers B.Tech degrees in 8 branches viz. civil engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science and engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, agriculture engineering, data science, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and internet of things. The course duration is 4 years. Applicants who wish to apply for the B.Tech programme must match the eligibility before applying. The eligibility criteria for the B.Tech programme is passing the 10+2 with minimum 45% marks with science subjects. Or having a diploma degree in engineering with minimum 45% marks. The accepted examination for admission into the B.Tech courses offered by the Vision Institute of Technology, Kanpur is JEE mains. The counselling for seat allotment is done by the Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling.

BTech Admission Process:

• Register, appear, and score marks in the JEE main

• Register for the online counselling process by Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling at uptac.admissions.nic.in

• Or visit the official website of AKTU and look for the registration link. Click on “New Registration” and provide the required details such as name, email address, mobile number, etc. After entering the details, submit the form to receive your registration credentials.

• Login to the portal using the registration credentials you received. Fill in personal information such as your name, date of birth, gender, category, nationality, etc. Make sure to enter the information correctly and double-check for any errors.

• Enter your academic details, including your qualifying examination details, board/university name, year of passing, percentage/CGPA obtained, etc. 

• upload scanned copies of your recent photograph and signature.

• During choice filling enter Vision Institute of Technology, Kanpur as your first preference and select the desired course. 

• The candidates will be informed about the selection decision through the portal itself.
