AIIMS Delhi currently offers programmes at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels in various streams such as medicine and allied sciences, sciences and pharmacy. To gain admission at AIIMS Delhi to the M.B.B.S course the candidates need to write the entrance examination called NEET and secure a valid score in it. Whereas, for admission into the M.D, M.S and M.Ch courses candidates need to secure a merit score in the INI CET. The admissions at AIIMS Delhi are done based on the scores obtained in the entrance examination.

AIIMS – Merit Cum Need-Based Scholarships in India, 2021 is offered for a bachelor's degree in the field of Medical Sciences. The deadline for sending your application is August 16, 2021, for this year. This scholarship is provided by the All India Institute of Medical Science the scholarship offers partial funding of Rs. 10,000/year. This scholarship is open for all Indian nationals.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is good but old as AIIMS was established in 1956. However, there is a huge scope of improvement in infrastructure with respect to digitalization, modernized classrooms, and pedagogy mechanisms.

While the overall college structure is good but for optometry department is worst because there is no particular class room, no wet lab for practice , lack of communal area for student collaboration, differentiation in mess facility , no dedicated canteen area, no wifi facility
