BITS Pilani All Questions

Cutoffs of BITS are not likely to be down this year as they have the tendency to increase every year but it may happen that for some branches like mechanical or civil and for BITS hyderabad,it may drop down but it is certain that this drop is not due to fee structure because the cutoffs and fee structure are not anyhow related.

BITS Pilani is one of the best private colleges in India. It is as reputed as the top IITs. This college is well known for its placements, faculties, facilities and many more. For getting admission in BITS Pilani last year cutoff was 382 and this year too the cutoff will be around 375 only. You will be able to get admission in the BITS Pilani but there are fewer chances of being admitted in JEE MAINS and you can even apply for other BITS College like for BITS Hyderabad, BITS Goa, and BITS Dubai Campus as for admission in those colleges cutoff is low than BITS Pilani. But you will get a seat in BITS PILANI.

   BITS is a well known institute for mechanical engineering. BITS is also known as Mecca of mechanical engineering. Its placements are also good. 

Out  of all the students who sit for the placement every semester in BITS , almost 100% of them are recruited on good companies.

   You can check the names of well known recruiters which are in BITS college.

As you're standing in the boundary, you may keep BITS as a option in your hand. But it'll be better if you apply in other colleges too. You can also apply to Chemical Engineering in BITS Pilani, Goa and Hydrabad campus.

As per the cutoff for 2019..the CSE cutoff marks are 375 for BITS pilani,hyderbad and goa.

As per your mentioned marks there are chances for you to get a seat.

       I hope you are doing well. Your question is quite difficult because VIT and BITS are too good in their own way. As you asked me regarding only placement, education and campus then I will say BITS(any branch i.e goa, Hyderabad,  etc) colleges are best compared to VIT. But the MHRD rank for VIT is good compared to BITS. This is because VIT is better in terms of research when compared to  BITS.So I suggest you BIT if you want better education, placements, campus. Finally, my point of view is irrespective of college studying put your 200% effort to fulfill your dreams then definitely you will be succeeded in your life.

Hi, according to your score bachelor of engineering in chemical engineering in bits Hyderabad campus is near your rank as the cutoff of b.e. in chemical engineering was 258 in 2018 and 260 in 2017 it is the least score of any branch any campus. So work hard and try some other colleges

On the basis of previous year trends,you would be getting only B.Pharm in the Pilani and the Hyderabad campuses.

The M.Sc courses may be a little hard to get as they close around 250 marks but you might have a chance as the threshold is not too much.

You could take the above mentioned course and try to get a brancch change after your first semester/year,but it is highly risky as well.

Do consider all your options before making the final decision.
