Only a few other places offer a work integrated management program in logistics similar to BITS. But there exist these options:-

1. Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management. IISWBM – Kolkata

They offer a post graduate diploma in Supply Chain and Logistics Management and the applications for this course usually come out around November. The placement record of this institute is good and the fees is reasonable. Fees 70,000 per participant.

2. CII Institute of logistics (Confederation of Indian Industry – Institute of Logistics)

They have sector specific programmes aimed at final year Undergraduate and postgraduate students and working professionals. Apart from that they also offer many online certification courses recognized by industry. They offer these courses in the field of supply chain management, logistics management, Logistics and shipping. They have run the distance education course as well for years now and are well experienced regarding the same.

3. Indian Maritime University

They offer a 2- year non-residential programme in M.B.A in International Transportation and Logistics Management. Admission for February 2019 batch are underway. They also offer phD level courses in case you are interested.

Apart from these government or government allied institutes there are several private colleges and universities offering courses in logistics management. Notable ones are the following:

1. Global institute of Integrated management studies

Global institute of Integrated management studies (GIIMS) offers masters and PG diplomas in Logistics and supply chain management. There are assured internships and placement assistance is also provided. Located in Cochin this institute has a decent track record.

Middlesex University in London, United Kingdom offers a 2 years part time online MBA in shipping and logistics starting this October 2019. As per the admission into IITs, NITs or BITS is concerned it is governed by their entrance exam performance and to appear for the exam you need to have at least 50% aggregate. Hence even if you have some poor or bad record of performance then also you can use up your final performance in the entrance exam to score well. And unless you have uncleared backlogs, your performance or admission criteria will not be hampered in any Institution.

Yes, you will be able to get admission based on the score in second session in BITSAT 2022 exam as you have applied for BITSAT session 1 and session 2 at once. But in case a candidate haven't applied for session 2 while applying for session 1 but wish to apply for session 2 after the session 1 exam concluded then he/she can apply only if he/she appeared for session 1. You have applied for session 1 and session 2 so you can apply for session 2 if ypu couldn't appear for session 1. The application fee is non refundable and non transferable so you cannot claim the application fee that you have paid for session 1.

Out of all the BITS campus available in India and in Dubai, if you consider the minimum required score, based on the past few years cut off trends it is genuinely beyond 420. However there is another one way available for you is to seat for BITSAT examination, if you are being eligible to score well, then you can take admission into your desired branch and you can pursue the course.

As per the information available in the Information Brochure if a candidate has taken more than one attempt in 10+2 or its equivalent examination only the latest performance is considered, provided he/she must have attempted all subjects/course prescribed. It means that you must appear for improvement examination is all the subjects that is prescribed for the course. If you appear for improvement in one subject you are not eligible to appear for BITSAT 2022. The Education Qualification Requirement is as follows

For admission to B.Tech course Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and adequate proficiency in English. The candidate must have scored minimum 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects.

For admission to B.Pharm course Candidates  must have passed 10+2 examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and adequate proficiency in English. And must have scored minimum 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects and minimum 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology.

Candidates who have studied Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry may also apply for the Pharmacy program. Candidates who have passed 10+2 in 2021 and will be appearing in 2022 are eligible to apply for BITSAT.

So with regard to your query, YES there are direct admissions for BITS PIlani for Board toppers. The candidates who are the board toppers are going to get direct admission into this college, and for the first semester the students will get full fee waiver. However, from the next semester those candidates must score between 9.0 to 9.5 CGPA. If they score between 9.0 to 9.5 then the hostel and mess fee waiver is available. There is no reduction in full fee.
