Dear aspirant,

To get into bits hyderbad campus it is very important to score a safe score for the cse branch which is around 320+ because if you score less it would be difficult for you to get cse branch.

However various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper

Dear aspirant hope you are doing well..

BITS HYDERABAD IS BETTER THAN VIT VELLORE.

And in terms of education BITS hyderabad is better than VIT VELLORE. But due to some reasons it may create some doubt in your mind but I used to tell that, for core branches it is better to join a college which has good faculty and academics and a brand name.

Cut off changes every year depending on the total number of candidates applied for admission, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc

Dear Student ,

As per the previous year GATE cut off , you need to score min 360 out off 1000 to get admission as M.Tech in Civil in BITS Pilani.

Check the GATE cut off from here :

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/gate-cutoff#GATE-2022-Qualifying-Cutoff

But let me remind you that every year the cut off can change due to several factors like seat matrix , difficulty level of exam etc.

Use this GATE college predictor for your reference :

Hope this helps !

Hello aspirant,

I hope that you are doing absolutely great.

With reference to yoru above mentioned query, i would like to tell you that it is really difficult to predict the exact number of colleges (NIT's or BITS Colleges) you can get with thsi GATE Score and rank in 2022. This is because the GATE Qualifying Cutoff varies every year and is different for different category students.

The GATE Qualifying Cutoff depends on several factors like :

  • The difficulty level of GATE 2022 question paper

  • Total number of GATE 2022 applicants

  • Previous years cutoffs trends

  • Availability of seats (Department-wise or discipline-wise)

However, looking at the GATE 2021 Cutoff trends. the minimum GATE Scores that was needed for GEneral category for EE was around 30.3.

Further, to get any top IIT's, BITS or NIT's for EE in 2022 as a general category, you need to score a minimum Cutoff GATE Rank within 1000 or 2000 to be on the safer side.

Further, you can also look out the Gate Qualifying Cutoff for EE for previous year by following the link below : https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/gate-cutoff-for-ee

Also, you can check the GATE College predictor tool to know you chances in other colleges based on your GATE SCore : https://www.googleadservices.com/pagead/aclk?sa=L&ai=DChcSEwik8ambqMz2AhW7mGYCHadrChQYABAAGgJzbQ&ae=2&ohost=www.google.com&cid=CAESWeD2YpcQM9Dpjg6xHEz07IbCiM1vWzRJvaovr1KiymVIpk8dP5hNeU71KUHmSEHm-ns4eZZKUSuzpUoiRMI53Ar_HBTBDx6kaajo2Owdl6QzOy9CiFaaD_Kx&sig=AOD64_1mlpyleGlFkgihw8LwzltFxsX1jQ&q&adurl&ved=2ahUKEwio_KCbqMz2AhXpzjgGHZykA00Q0Qx6BAgCEAE

I hope that this will help.

Hi aspirant,

Yes BITS Pilani does offer scholarship based upon the candidates performance in the qualifying examination and BITSAT. If someone scores more than 300 marks in the entrance examination, he or she would be aborted 75% of the scholarship similarly 50% for between 250 and 300 and 25% for between 200 and 250. Along with performance in the entrance examination the candidates also need to fulfill the minimum percentage requirement in the intermediate examination. Also toppers from every state or central education board are awarded 50% of the scholarship for entry into any course.

Hope it helps!

Hello there

Talking about the scholarships in bits pilani then it is of two types.

First one is that everyone is eligible for the scholarship according to the cutoffs that is defined by the CGPA and it's quite high.

For Pilani Campus:

9.7+ -80% on tution fee

9.5+ - 40% on tution fee

Secondly, you can get scholarship if your annual family income is below than the certain amount which is eligible for this scholarship and generally it is 8 lakh per annum.

For pilani campus:

8.8+ CGPA -80% on tuition fee

8.1+ CGPA - 40% on tuition fee

6+ CGPA - 25% on tuition fee

I hope it helps you!

Thank you!

Hello aspirant,

I hope that you are doing absolutely great.

With reference to your above mentioned query, i would like to tell you that it is quite difficult to predict precisely the GATE qualifying Cutoff for BIT Hyderabad that yo would require to get ME in Microelectronics or communication. This is because the GATE Cutoff varies every year and is different for different category students.

The Qualifying GATE Cutoff depends on several factors like :

  • Performance of the candidate GATE exam.

  • Category of the candidates

  • Previous cutoff trends

However, looking at the previous year cutoff trends, in order to get Me or Mtech in Microelectronics or communication, you would need a minimum GATE Score of around 350-500 To be on the safer side.

Further, you can also read the GATE Previous year cutoff to know more about the details : https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/gate-cutoff

I hope that this will help.

Hi aspirant,

Birla Institute of Technology conducts the BITSAT examination in order to offer admissions at its campuses. In case you are willing to take admission into BTech course you need to select B E as the option, it stands for bachelor in engineering and has the same meaning as a BTech. Some colleges offer this degree by the name of Bachelors in engineering by integrating some extra value tomes but it is exactly equivalent to the  B tech course. To get more information about the same and to know about how to fill the application form visit the link given below

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of the MBA students at BITS Pilani is well-organized and up-to-date. Classrooms are spacious, with projectors and audio-visual systems installed, enhancing lectures. The campus Wi-Fi is satisfactory, though speed reduces slightly in times of high usage. Seminar halls, case study rooms, and group discussion rooms are available for management students.

Overall my experience so far has been nice.

College Infrastructure

Nice infrastructure, AC class rooms, clean washrooms, well-maintained campus, pretty flowers everywher, pretty pretty snake path and last but not the least, how can I forget our iconic clock tower haha!!
