BITS Pilani All Questions

Candidates seeking admission in BITS campuses are required to compulsorily register for the entrance test by filling the BITSAT 2020 application form. The application form of BITSAT has been released on January 11 in online mode.

BITSAT 2020 exam will be conducted in online mode through computer based test mode

The result of BITSAT will be declared in two steps - first the authorities will declare the score of BITSAT 2020 after the exam is conducted in the form of correct answers, incorrect answers and total score of the candidate

Students seeking admissions through BITSAT 2020 must score equal to or greater than the cutoff of the exam .

To be eligible for admissions candidates will have to register for BITSAT counselling 2020 by paying the registration fee and selecting their preferences of branches and institutes.

You have a decent performance in XAT and can definitely get BITS Pilani with your XAT percentile as they require a minimum of 75 percentile in XAT. But apart from that you can check out these colleges also. They are also pretty decent with good placements and academics.

Eligibility Criteria to get seat intl BITS for Btech are as follows:

1. Students applying for BITSAT 2020 must have passed class 12 not earlier than 2019 which means they must have passed class 12 in 2019 or appearing in 2020.

2. Students must have an aggregate of 60% marks in class 12 and also in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with 50% individually in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics

3. Admission will purely be on the basis of merit formulated on class 12 or equivalent marks.

Occurrence of branch transfer is extremely rare to happen. For it to happen your score should be really high (university topper) then there is some probability to consider your transfer given that there is vacancy in the desired branch.

Since computer science is in trend, all the seats get allocated during admission only.

There is no gain for you if you take admission in the branch in which you are not interested. I would rather suggest you to look for seat in computer science in other colleges.

Yes Birla Institute of Technology is a good college and is consistently ranked among one of the best colleges in India. The facilities provided are good and there is no problem faced by the students. It is a great place if one wants to study,learn,work hard and aim higher in life. Infrastructure is great with all amenities for students like library, extra curriculum activities.

The placement and package is not so good, the average package comes out to 4 lacs per annum. The college is good, but the placement is average.

First thing that I want you to tell you that you have a decent percentile in XAT to get any good college so also keep trying for other colleges like KJ Somaiya, WeSchool LIBA and TAPMI etc. Now for BITS Pilani they give call on the basis your profile that is your marks in class 10th, 12th and graduation, extracurricular activities, co- curricular activities andayour score in the competitive exam, Considering your percentile you are in safe side but you have to equally well perform in GD and PI also, So work hard and be well prepared for it.
