With 64 percentile in JEE Mains, your marks should be in the range 1-40 and your rank should be in the range 334080-1025009.

COEP JEE Mains cut-offs for OBC category  as follows-

  • UG Civil Engineering- 152
  • UG Mechanical Engineering- 163
  • UG Electrical Engineering- 165

Hey,

Hope you are doing good!

Well, 69.55 percentile is quite less percentile  to get admission in IIT. Or we can say that, it is impossible for you to get into any IIT ,NIT, or any reputated college with open category. To get into IIT , NIT you have to score more than 98% in jee mains for NITs and in jee advance for IITs.

So , work hard  until you achieve your goal. All the best for the future ahead.

Thank you!

Hello,

Honestly in 83 percentile coep is a very tough one to get because the cut offs are high for it.

But for vishwakarma institute of technology,Pune you can get branches like electrical , mechanical, civil and electronics and communication branch. However some factors are considered while predicting these things like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

Hello Priyanshu,

Congratulations for your result. It is very difficult to predict the exact rank since it depends on number of factors like total number of students attempted the exam, level of toughness, etc.

But if we go through previous trends then your CRL-AIR will be around 77441 - 87055 in general category. Considering the best case as 77441 as your CRL-AIR then also you won't be able to get admission in any of the branches of COEP.

But no worries, still you can get admission in number of government colleges through JOSAA counselling with this rank. If you want to predict the list of colleges for which you are eligible then you can use our rank predictor tool which is given below: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=jee_cp%E2%80%8B%E2%80%8B%E2%80%8B

All the best for your future ahead.

Hi,

Can you please help us with the name of the institution for which you are concerned regarding the admission details ? Without this information, we cannot deliver you the exact information. You can tell the name in the comment section or ask a separate question.

Hello,

College of engineering , Pune or VJTI takes admission on the basis of state merit list prepared by the state authorities. On the basis of rank secured in the merit list you will know about the cut off for the colleges and accordingly you will be admitted to that.

Looking at the previous year trends i doubt it's possible to get admission in these colleges as the cut offs are higher. To get these colleges you need to score atleast 96-97 percentile.

hiiii

the jee  cut off is decided as the authorities will consider various factors such as the total number of seats available in each institute, previous year’s cutoff trends, difficulty level of the exam, and etc .

Hello Aspirant,

I hope you are doing well.

Your percentile might give you a rank of roughly 200000. Your odds of being admitted to COEP or VIT Pune with this rank are not good enough, however, you can check out our college predictor:

I hope this helps.

Good Luck

Hi Vedangini,

To have a clear idea of how much you should approximately score to land yourself a seat in College of Engineering Pune (CoEP), it is best to look at the previous year's cut-offs.

You can access the cut off list by hitting on the link attached below to study the the general trend of MH CET 2021 for COEP across different streams of Engineering. https://www.careers360.com/colleges/college-of-engineering-pune/cut-off

Please feel free to drop a comment on this thread if there are more doubts. Good luck!

Hello Yash,

The cut offs for CoE Pune can vary every year as it largely depends upon exam shift and difficulty level of the paper. You hit the link below to check out previous year's MHT CET cut offs for CoE Pune.

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/mht-cet-cutoff

I would suggest you to check for cut offs based on ranks and not marks or percentile. A peculiarity of exams that have a percentile system of generating results is that they largely depend upon your exam shift. One's percentile will be higher if there are more students in their shift with higher scores than there are with the same marks as another candidate in another shift. After preparation of the percentile list, a State Merit List (SML) is compiled from which your rank can be determined. All subsequent admission is also contingent on your ranking. This, like the percentile rank, changes with the number of test takers.

Once the MHT CET exams are conducted, you can use the predictor link provided below to have an idea of your rank and probabilities of getting into your dream college.

Hope this helps. You can drop a comment on this thread in case there are any doubts or if I missed touching upon something. Good luck!
