• HBTU Kanpur is ranked 166 by NIRF while IIIT Kota has no ranking by NIRF.
• B.Tech CSE course fee at HBTU is INR 5.83 Lakhs while at IIIT, the course fee is INR 8.36 Lakhs.
• B.Tech average package at HBTU is INR

I believe you should prefer IIEST Shibpur CSE over IIIT Kota. IIIT Kota is a newer institution compared to IIEST Shibpur and lacks experience in faculty and research. On the other hand IIEST has excellent Infrastructute, Faculty and Research facilities as well as a very good outlook. More than 85%

In my opinion both the colleges are equally good and they do stand important nationally. Although they do not have their own campuses and they are operating from  NITs in the respective states. Placements salary are more or less the same for both but people are choosing IIIT Sonepat
