Every IIT has it's own advantage and disadvantage.  According to me IIT Kottayam is better than IIT surat at ECE . IIT surat was established in 2017. IIT Kottayam was established in 2015. They follow the course and carriculam like Hyderabad IIT. They put many efforts in academics.

All of the above college belong to Institute of National Importance and since they are new, they are continuously developing.They do not have their own campus yet. And some do not have had placement seasons too.

So considering all the above factors as per me:IIIT Kota~=IIIT Vadodara>IIIT Surat>IIIT Kottayam.
