There are various levels at which you can join ISRO and at various designations.
After 12th: You can get into IIST (Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology) for their Undergraduate programmes. The admission is based on JEE Advanced scores. Which means you need to have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 10+2. The IIST offers B.tech course in two categories 1.Aerospace engineering and 2. electrical and communication engineering. and also 5-year dual degree available.

As per the official IIST release, there is no update about the admission 2020 due to the corona situation. they said they will be announced very soon. We have to wait untill further announcement. Follow their official webiste for the announcements.

For UG course you must register online,through IIST website.After the registration process the Institute generates the admission list. The selection for B.tech or dual B.tech is done based on candidates valid score in JEE advanced and councelling round.

Chances of getting a seat is average in your case. As you know cutoff is decided by various factors like number of seats in course  ,no. Of applicants. From last year cutoff  we can conclude that you have 50% chances of selection . cutoff can be high or low so i suggest you to apply for more colleges and other courses.

IIST (Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology), situated in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala is a deemed university for research and education in the field of Space Science.

Courses Offered : In the field of space study, IIST offers UG(Under-graduate) and PG(Post Graduate) courses like B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering, Avionics Engineering,  and Engineering Physics. Also, it offers B.Tech + M.S/M.Tech (Dual Course), PH.D in Philosophy, and M.Tech in Control Systems.

Eligibility Criteria : To be eligible for a B.Tech degree in IIST, one must have passed Class 12 with minimum aggregate 75%. Also, one must have a valid score in JEE Advanced (2019 cut-off mentioned below).

1. General Category : 20% score on an average  in Physics Chemistry and Mathematics with minimum of 5% score in each of the individual subjects.

Placements : Placement records of IIST has been remarkable very year. As we see of 2019; for example, 125 students of B.Tech were placed in companies like MathWorks, TCS, Wipro, ISRO, Adobe Systems, and many more. Their Cost To Company (CTC) was 6.3 lacs per annum and 9 lacs as median salary.

Ranking : By NIRF 2020(National Institutional Ranking Framework  ), IIST is ranked on number 33  for engineering courses.

Also, talking about the dates of JEE Advanced 2020, it is supposed to be on 23 August, 2020.

For the year 2020, the official schedule for admission into UG programmes has not yet been released on the Institute's official website.

Admission to IIST Thiruvananthapuram is through JEE Advanced. In order to be eligible to give JEE Advanced a candidate has to qualify JEE Main. A candidate needs to score around 70+ in JEE Advanced to get admission in IIST as based on previous years trends.

According to reports, IIST 2020 Rank List for PG  courses was to be released on 17th June 2020 i.e today. The Rank List will be released for UG & PG courses through online mode. Till now, there are no updates about it. The authorities has released the eligibility criteria of IIST M.Tech admissions 2020 on the official website. You have not mentioned your category it is important to know because cut off is different for each category. In 2019 the cut off ranks were as follows category wise for B.Tech Aeronautical Engineering in IIST

• General 801
• EWS:124
• OBC: 308
• SC/ST: 25

This is cut off in 2019, in 2020 the cut off may increase or decrease depending on number of candidates applied, difficulty of exam etc.

If you get a seat in IIST Thiruvananthapuram, then you'll have to pay the college fee. Security fee will be included in the first year fee only. And you'll also have to pay the hostel fee which h includes the accommodation and mess charges.
